Berlin: 20-12-02 Vandit Night, Paul´s B-Day (pg. 13)

HI,
wir sind gut wieder in HH angekommen... schon während der Fahrt geschlafen. Jp und Proximus sind gegen 16.00 bei uns aufgetaucht, gegen 17.00 nach Holland gedüst. Da wird er Proximus absetzen und dann wieder zurück zu uns nach HH... dann ab auf ne Cocktail-Party, danach in die Location und zu "uplifting trance" abtanzen - denn das Paul-set war "gewöhnungsbedürftig".
Wir sind langsam wieder unter den Lebenden, jetzt langsam fertig machen für den Rest des Abends... es ist ein schwieriges Leben, dauernd diese Partys...

Ich bin aufgewacht! WTF!!! 20:30!!! :)
Nun... also ICH fand das Set von Paul eher von der Musikauswahl her SCHEISSE. (sorry...)
Irgendwas verdächtig nach Nu-NRG hat er gespielt, aber so der Reisser war das nicht.
Rapid Eye - Circa forever (Rapid Eye R.E. Mix) hab ich noch gehört und als wir gegangen sind dann noch On the run im Ocean to shore Remix (kam mir dann gerade vor als wenn ich auf der diesjährigen Mayday gestanden hätte...) aber halb acht sind wir dann ja mal los.
Teilweise war mir das wirklich zu basslastig und teilweise auch echt zu nervig (ich bin ja der Uplifting-Man und steh eher auf Melody)...
Nun ja, nichts desto trotz waren die 12,50 Euro ok und ich bereue es nicht, vor allen mit den Leuten hats Spass gemacht! :)
Akki, ist dein Pullover jetzt 2 Nummern grösser??? :p
Den grossen Typen im weissen Shirt und der Cam--- das ist JP! Bei seinen 350 Fotos hätt mich das auch nicht gewundert, ihn irgendwo auf einem Foto in GENAU der Position zu finden *g*
PS: The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia (En Motion RMX) hat er auch gespielt... :) |

Ich war zwar nicht in Berlin, aber wenn ich das so lese kommt mir das vor, als ob ein ganz anderer PVD in Berlin war als in München. Im KW (das kann krusty11 bestätigen) spielte Paul ziemlich uplifting und teilweise schon fast Armin van Buuren - like. Um so erstaunlicher ist es, wenn ich höre, dass es sehr beatlastig & kaum uplifting gewesen sein soll :conf:
Ich kenne Cirillo auch noch vom KW und damals als ich ihn regelmäßig gesehen habe (ist auch schon 1 1/2 Jahre her, leider) hat er ziemlich uplifting vocal-mässig fast schon PVD-like aufgelegt.
Naja, so ändern sich die Zeiten.
Ich hoffe mal Paul ist zum Rosenmontagsrave in der richtigen Stimmung....... |

Nee, er ist nur blau von der Wand (s.o.)
Aber das Bild ist echt bezeichnend :stongue:
Und dazu fällt er dann auch noch so auf ...
Letztes Jahr war die Vandit-Geburtstags-Night eindeutig besser. Mir fällt jetzt leider nicht mehr ein, wer der Gast war ... |

Paul kicked off with some groovy tunes of which i have NO names whatsoever (hey!! i've been in SA for 4 bloody months!!) :D
It was so good! It was still early and I was already dancing my off :D The crowd didn't really go for it yet tho.
Then Cirillo came, and I thought it was real Italian music...meaning HARD bass and uptempo :) Was quite good! But I took the time to realx a bit to get ready for PvD's final set ;)
And did that last set kick ARSE!!! :D At first I thought it was a bit too hard but after some killer tunes (sorry, no names) and classics (grrrrrr...still no names) I really enjoyed the whole of the set! I danced rite next to the speakers and even ran into a DIEHARD pvd-fan from The Hague :) Even tried to snog me gheghe :p
PvD was in a good mood and danced and smiled and told some buggers to feck off when they annoyed him (or so it seemed hehehe). We had a +5 second eyecontact but I instantly forgot to move :D How silly is that :p
I didn't get to speak to Markus gr!!!!! :whip:
All in all, my nite was wicked and I was high even tho I didn't consume ANY illegal substances :) Thanks Paul for this massive memory :)
