You know I really don't think those 4000+ former Iraqi citizens are lying, when theyre sittin in the US and saying they left solely because of Saddam and his abuse of power. We've seen enough tapes of saddam saying one thing, and seeing another of him saying the opposite. Thats enough evidence for me that someone is a liar.
and the reason you saw no anti-war protestors during the "osama" conflict and bombing of afghanistan is this. Millions of people, saw for themselves, live, on national television, two commercial aicraft, colliding directly with two world trade center towers. During that, they witness deaths of over 3000 people from all over the world, of all countries, on TV.......LIVE........
You got some pretty big balls, to go out on the streets of the US, or anywhere else at that, to protest AGAINST the removal of a proven terrorist.......AGAINST the mastermind of what they witnessed first hand on tv. Its simple as that. |

If you read this whole thread you'd realize, ofcourse its not just about liberation and freedom. Ofcourse a percentage is about oil and whatever else you think. You got to be one dumb idiot to spend 300 billion dollars, and not achieve any economic benefit. What do you think wars are about? just freedom? I can't think of one war, a country has been willing to enter, where they benefited absolutely nothing.

maybe u dont have relatives and friends in the middle east who are in danger right now because of this war, but i do.
and if u should know
it was because of the peaceful protests held by Mahatma Ghandi in the first half of the last century that brought freedom to India as compared to the wars held in USA to gain peace..think about that |
