Tony Blair said something today that made sense- "Bali wasn't on the front line when they were attacked by terrorists" - The fact of the matter is, we live in a world where we can no longer live like we used to - We weren't at war with Iraq when Sept. 11 happened. Yell peace all you want - but everyone is a target - whether we call war on a country or not. Just look at France - very anti-war and yet today they find Ricin poison at a train station. War will not spawn MORE terrorism - standing back and doing nothing will...
On a side note, stop the personal attacks - if you want peace, practice what you preach - call terrorism retarted, that makes more sense... |

I just read that 12 American and 4 British marines were killed in a hellicopter crash. I might join your peace allinace soon. They haven't released the names as of yet, but my cousin could be one of the names. He is 26 years old.
That's 16 families who won't have their sons or daughters next Christmas.

| If you're a "ditohead" (ie a right wing extremist) then you would enjoy Fox News's coverage. Also if you enjoy Geraldo Rivera I can also reccomend Fox. I just saw an interview with Newt Gingrich in which he blamed the Democrats for all of the anti-war protestors clogging up the streets. Actually they clogged up the streets in Austin today too. :nervous: |

btw, it hasnt been that long since we bombed Afghanistan, so the further reaching reprecussions of that attack are yet to be seen. One of the reasons I dont think we should be so fiesty to overthrow Iraq, we never even finished establishing a stable government in Afghanistan, and we are already leaping into another conflict.
