There are/ were some politicians who are smart. there are some who care about the people and their country, but there is lots of them, who only care about being re-elected next term.
As for the european countries: they are not a bloody mess because the PEOPLE of our countries were sick and tired of fighting each other all the time. We have realized that we cannot sustain constantly fighting against another and we have therefore decided that it is smarter to start working together.
Never forget, a politician is only a mean, the PEOPLE are the ones that 'wield' the power (at least in theory).
Maybe the fact that europeans are not killing each other anymore is more of a scientific feat than anything else. Since SCIENTISTS came up with ways to produce more food, there is no more fighting over that, hence people can live together hapily.
Scientists -Galileo- were the people that explained to the gneral population that the earth is not flat and that all people are equal. Maybe slavery was abolished because scientists showed 'us' that black and white people are the same in the end?
The reason that you can type this is because a scientist came up with the idea on how to store data in bits and scientists developed the integrated ciruit. America is the most powerful nation in the world, because it invests a lot of money in scientific research and the government is very laissez faire when it comes to intervening with the way business is done. therefore the real businessmen were able to do what they wanted/ needed to do.... |

Talking to a brick wall would actually be more productive, because you could hear a faint echo of your voice off the brick wall and therefore have some acknowledgment that the sound of your voice actually travelled somewhere.

there is a box to disable your sig just above the attach file text area.
