well from plans i have made with the travel agent, it loos as if im going to b landing in ROME!!!! AT 5AM 18TH OF MARCH NEXT YEAR!!!!

i reccon once i wanna settle down sumwhere and stay put for a while, ill go buy some cheep decks and get my record box sent over :) and see how i go there!! oooowwww ssssooo many things running thru my head, getting extreeemly excited!!!! |

marak, if you want cheaper airline tickets always wait until flight center run an expo.... i remember getting a flight to austria/malta for only $800 bucks :D
you just have to keep an eye out for when they are on, usually late january if i can remember correctly :p |

| hhhmmmm the chick was talking about something like that (the expo), but then she said its valid after march (change in season she was saying) sssoooo i guess it comes down to when i wanna jump over if i wanna wait to save some money... but... im kinda dead set on march... the $800 was that 1 way??!! including taxes? |

it was a one way ticket and included taxes, im not sure about the whole after march thing because i left oz in march :eyes: and seeings as your headed to italy in march, i suggest taking warm clothes its still chilly at that time in the med ;) i only took 2 jackets and had to borrow clothes off friends and family :p |

yeah its gonna b tough with working out clothing.... backpacking and all meaning..... a backpack lol so basically 3 pairs of socks... 3 of jocks.... camera, passports, guide book (lol) and yeah my shoes LOL!!! |

dont take too much clothing, i walked around with 19 kilos on my back and it becomes too heavy at times, always a pain in the ass to pack into it aswell, theres a great debate between backpackers, as to roll or fold your clothes :p
always place socks inside of shoes, so then u dont have to go searching for them, 3 pairs of shoes is a bit excessive, take thongs, runners and another pair in case ur runners get wet.
Pack 2-3 pair of pants, remember jeans way more so only take one pair with you, shorts are light and dont take much room, you will always over pack clothing, there are things i carried around for a year and never wore.
As for the flight, told you i got it through the flight center expo, i flew austrian airlines to vienna, then got air malta to malta ;) |

interesting, cool, yeah roll up clothing :) 3 pairs of shoes??!! damn!!! im thinkin thongs and normal shoes... yeah forget my doc martins lol!! no doubt ill pick up clothing when im over there... just gotta work out at some point "ok im happy here, im gonna live here!" lol then ill find sumwhere to live, then go get more clothes and all lol! very very scary!!!!
they quoated me something like $1200 one way inc tax to get there!!! so $800 is wow...!! i think i might go try with another flight agency yeah? get a second opinion... a better deal.... hhmmmmmm |
