Quick hello from Singapore airport :) Gotta luv free net terminals...hehehe We really should still be shoppin, but we've spent way too much already on cosmetics (we'll be poor in europe, but at least we'll look good!!) so we're staying away from the shops now!!!
Everything that could go wrong went wrong so far....we missed our original flight outta cbr...then the next one had mechanical probs and couldn't take off.......the one we ended up gettin barely got us to sydney in time for our connection and we almost had a stroke running at olympic speed to get to the gate in time...not fun!!! but we were rewarded by having the whole back row of seats to ourselves, when the rest of the plane was chockablock full...hehehe.....and i just noticed we've got exit row seats to cairo....so, things r pickin up *lol*
on a random note, we just had the infamous singapore chicken rice....for those of u goin thru changi soon, TRY IT!!! it's really as good as it's made out to be!!
okay, now i'm starting to ramble like a crazy woman - forgive me cos im running off about 3 hours sleep in the last 3 days...and my brain is fried from planes............so, i think i'll just shuddup now and go wait for our flight to cairo........i'm actually startin to be a lil excited about it now - bout time it kicked in!!!!

ahhhwicked nice to hear from you..
how the hell you get those seats.. i took like 15 flights on my trip and not once was there free seats!!!

travelling alone can get really lonely (i spend 3 months a year o/s for work), but it doesn't take long to get into the groove in new places. When your settling in for a while it's even easier, the worst is when you are constantly moving. As soon as you find good places to eat, things to do, make a few friends, it's time to start all over again.
Probably too late, but in cairo beware of people claiming to be students or otherwise just wanting to practice their english. they're a pain to get rid of and always have a store selling souvenirs. The best way to get rid of them is to tell them you are meeting a busniess colleague. |

Asia is just on the money when it comes 2 food :) Best food I ate was in malaysia personally, with SG following 2nd,VERY closly :)
Hawker food is to die for!

i think ill go to a few places in Asia next year.. im looking for some place that is cheap that has sandy white beaches? anywhere?
i think ill have to get acustom to the food.. i dont particulaly like thai hrmmm |
