if you choose to take the deprive yourself of sleep option before you get on the plane so hopefully you collapse from exhaustion once the planes taken off, just don't do what a friend of mine TRIED to do before his 3month tour of usa/canada...deprived himself of sleep for a good 2-3 days, fell into a deep deep sleep in the airport lounge waiting for his plane to be called...eventually got woken up by a very kind, but irate member of the airport staff. luckily he'd checked in so they were calling his name from the PA system for a good 15-20 mins.
don't think airport staff & singapore airlines staff & passengers will be very happy to see you if that is the case :) |

Here is some news you all might like
| quote: | PvD and Nu-Nrg will play at the Loveparade Demonstration at the Ku'Damm in Berlin on July 10th (Adenauerplatz 16.30 Uhr)
This demo has been organized by Partysan, who always had a truck at the 'real' Loveparade. More trucks and thousands of ravers are being expected to show up to protest for the return of Loveparade (which has been cancelled for 2004) |

changi is the world's best airport to pass time in. If you are hungry though, I'd recommend going out through customs, catching the internal train to terminal 2 and on the ground floor, right end as you face the departure area, there's a nice indoor hawker centre, typical s'pore food and prices.
And flying SQ means you get one of the world's best beers. Drink tiger, play super knockout or tennis, time passes easily. and individual tv's aren't all the same, the ones you get on qantas only play games like the basic games you used to get on dos pc's
As for cairo airport, it's pretty rotten. If you look in any way asian, expect to be delayed at imiigration for 3-4 hours |
