14-05-2004 -NO LOVEPARADE!!!- Loveparade 2004 will NOT take place. They were not able to find a sponsor. The city may hope for a Loveparade 2005, but what the real future of Loveparade will be unsure.

YAY!!!!!! Some of us were actually hoping the official over-commercialised LP would stay cancelled this year.......cos there are already plans for a back to the roots style LP demonstration like it used to be before it got raped by commercialism.....so, woo hooooo - bring on the old-skool baybeeeeeeee!!!!

Yeah I'd rather have a proper LP, the trucks the DJ line up etc. Instead we're going to have jp in his car, dex on the roof. It'll be fun, but not exactly the same or as good :p

as for crowd being small - everything else planned in Berlin that weekend is still going ahead - all club nites and events...plenty of ppl go for those alone.....and i don't know anyone who was planning to go to berlin that weekend, who is planning to pull out now.....most ppl are even more enthusiastic now!!

everything is what u make it....me and the ppl i'll be with that weekend will be having an amazing time :) :)

This demonstration might just what Loveparade needs. Although nobody can guess the exact number of people that will travel to Berlin, there will be a party going on for sure.

The Siegessaule & Tiergarten will be flooded by ravers, just for the simple fact that nothing can stop them.

We will be there, music will be there

Berlin here we come :wtf:

I don't know Berlin, but there's a decent chance there'll be loads of police all over the place arresting people. If that's the case, it won't take long to stop the "ravers" from raving. 40,000 people's a lot of people yeah, say there's 500 police (1.25%) arresting ppl and breaking the "demonstration" up, it'd take under an hour for the whole thing to be dead. [NB They'd find the music source and just stop it, before they started arresting people]

I'll be there and the vibe will be off the hook, something like that will add SO much more excitement....I just hope you're car's big enough to mount dex on top!
