Then they are lowering themselves to the level of the terroists. How is an Israeli civilian worth anymore or less than a Palestinian civilian? Hamas attacks are put down just as much if not more than Israeli attacks within the media.

yes I understand, but the native Jews (the Arab looking ones) are a minority, most of the Jews there are European Jews (mixed)
how about my solution for the issue?
evacuate the area, and move the arabs to Jordan, and make the Jews an artificial island next to Cyprus. Then turn old Israel/Palestine into an international resort

To have respect for others you'll need to respect yourself first.

sorry...i was a bit outraged by the title and first post of this thread that i just breezed thru the thread with a one track mind...
however i think all this drama over this long battle is a bit overhyped (no offence to anyone) by the local media since US is involved...
recently that stupid msn chain message went around about putting an X before ur name blah blah in concern with israel...
what abou thte millions that are starving in africa?? what abou the wars in east asia??what about the number of people atht die every day on the indo pak border cos of land disputes as well??

This is what is always told to the ISraeli public, after they block off the area to media.
And with respect to your analogy, I can compare them becuase in both cases Innocents are killed. Whether they are terrorists attacks on israelis... or state sponsored terrorist attacks on palestinians
Tell me, if terrorists were planning an attack inside Israel around a crowded neighborhood, is it Okay to throw rockets into that crowd in order to kill them? Why is it right to do that in the west bank or gaza and not israel? |

Hamas recently stated about a week ago that if Israel withdrew from the west bank and Gaza, they would definately work with the PLO to make a ceasefire.
They publicly stated they wanted peace if this was done... but ISrael ruined this prospect by assisinating him. |
