and if you go back 2,000 years, the Jews were kicked off their land too. The Arabs weren't even Muslims then because their "religion" didn't even exist at that time. But there were people there before the Jews came too, but they certainly weren't Muslims. Any Jewish temple predates any Islamic temple and that can be proven scientifically.
The land claims make no sense...it won't be solved that way. They both have claims to the land. Any talk of disarming is ridiculous...Israel is surrounded by enemies and have been attacked before. Why? Because they're Jewish and so many Arabs want to see their entire religion and people wiped off the earth.
I'm sorry, but there is a HUGE difference between whackos blowing themselves up in the name of religion and taking scores of innocent people with them rather than army helicopters assassinating the leaders which encourage this sort of behaviour in the first place. |

'high precision weapons' that's what America called them during the gulf war. They're not. Yes.. there have been buildings that have been collapsed..
Your comparison of bus passengers and militant areas is two different things i believe. I think somebody's pointed out already that it is state sponsored attacks versus guys who can afford to strap themselves up with C4 and press a button. How can a state be so irresponsible as to who they attack and kill? But then again.. one could argue that palestine's humanitarian funds are channeled towards Hamas... although there is no direct proof of it. |

Well I actually grew up there from wen I was 7...And I was in the middle of everything...and just accidentally happened to leave before all that crap started.
In any case, I'm officailly retiring from this thread. I don't see a point in arguing with some of the comments I've heard (read). |

I love it when people are trying to make it seem like this conflict has only been going on for a few years. The truth is this conflict has been going on since the creation of the State of Israel.
Does anyone here actually know how Israel was created? If so it might be a good idea to post it so that people who have no idea what they're talking about can at least get a clue.
Over the years there have been many cease-fires in the middle east. None of them were permenent but they were there. Syria is one recent example that was brought up in previous posts.
Israel is always hot on the gun and just waiting for an excuse to go into Palestine territory with their supperior, US-funded millitary.
In my eyes Sharon is nothing but a terrorist himself that should be eliminated. Fireing rockets into a crowd of people leaving morning prayers hoping to get one man is nothing more than terrorism. The only difference is Israel terrorism is State sponsored while Palestine is not.
