I'm really sorry to hear about this, no matter how it happened. My condolences to friends and family.... :(

agreed. as much as i feel bad for her death, my question is why?
why do we have to suffer for her ill-matched actions? if she wanted to die, she could die somewhere else.
see, i'm upset cuz she had to die doing something that might affect the future of clubs. I have less sympathy cuz of her not only so stupid actions, but her ignorant actions. question is why? |

Such a shame and sad that so many people cannot not enjoy the music without feeling obliged to dose up ...especially full out without testing what they have first.

| On a side note (sorry to offend anyone) I'd be interested in the toxicology report, if indeed what she took was indeed mdma(which is highly unlikely), sounds like someone gave her a pill with PMA (or something else). A dark reminder to buy a test kit. |

Who knows if she'd been drinking too... I thought mixing of substances, including alcohol, was usually the most common culprit when incidents like these occur. |

Read it again, it's her mom's ex-husband commenting on the situation - not that the daughter was dating him.

Maybe it was DXM she took - and its kind of sketchy that the guy she was with was on probation - for what I wonder? |

This shouldnt be a lesson for club owners, and it shouldnt be a wake up call for those who attend them. It should be a reminder to those who are going to purchase drugs of any kind that your source should be either someone you know, or the drug you are grabbing is something youve done before. This girl obviously wanted to get high, so regardless if she did it in her own basement or at an afterhours club, she wouldve got her hands on something no problem. The "rave-bar" did not cause this girls death. It was the fact that she didnt know what she was getting into, and did it anyways with no thought of the concequences.
Heres a thought. The drug MDMA was once prescribed to patients who were battling depression. Now i know this is far-fetched, but what if they were to make it legal again. Clubs could sell it, and the people attending the clubs would know what they are getting is pure and not life threatening.
Lets face it, drugs are easy to buy. If someone wants to get high for a party, they will. Beef up "airport-like" security, the drugs will still get in. So regulate it, and you wont have a problem like this occur again, i guarantee. |
