Cyrus,
I seriously hope what I have written about you is WRONG, and that you ARE trying to do something. Read what I have said, you have honourable intentons, its the whole kill everyone thing that I disagree with!
So, answer Trancaholics question, we are both asking the same thing. |

Im glad at least some people comprehend what my implications are regarding this issue.
All these people in the thread look at it as though i want to murder them out of cynicism, that i want to see death and suffering.
And im not surprised at how many morons here posted proposing for me to kill myself if I wanted to help out with this issue. |
I agree that people telling you to kill yourself are being retarted, but they are just trying to combat your extreme argument with their own extreme argument. I wouldn't really worry about the human race dying off, it's bound to happen on it's own eventually. The only thing that is likely to prevent overpopulation is famine, plague, or war. However, with the way the world is now, I wouldn't be surprised if, at least, one of those things happens. I'm not gonna try and tell you the world is a great place right now, but I'm not a quitter and don't wanna throw in the towel quite yet. Hell your banner, which I'm not against, highlights one of the worst problems in the world right now. I can't take either side on the issue, because both sides are going about things completely wrong. If the situation in Israel/Palestine continues at this rate, they'll end up killing each other until there's no one left. But, I guess, that's you're all about. |

hmm....the whiney mofo seems to have left for 'Planet Cyrus'
i'll leave my 2 cents worth anyway. iF you're not doing anything to help the situation , than stfu. Its easy to criticize, try taking some action for a change. Also, not all humans live destroying and using nature, there are many people who live in symbiosis with nature, becoming part of the delicate balance of th ecosystem. Should they eiped out too? They're human too. |

you never answered my question? do u do any part in making the earth a better place? same goes to dj rat? do u guys just hate humans or do u do anything to help humanity.. |
I have already stated that.
And what does that have to do with this topic. Whether or not I do try to make it a good place does not have any validity to the argument at hand. I could go out and give millions away to poor people.... say I care about them, yet still set up sweat shops in third world countries.
This is an OPINION... my personal aspirations, efforts or affiliations have nothing to do with this argument. |

Whoop de doo, you've just killed everything on the planet (plants included) so that insects and bacteria can flourish. Methinks you haven't thought this all the way through - you think the world is stuffed now, wait until you crash a asteroid into the place.

You certainly think that Earth was born with skyscrapers on it? |

Its true, the human race is in fact like a cancer to this planet. Some of us fail to see it because we are so completely depend on our civilization and live in our safe kind of bubble surrounded by modern technology. Some of us don’t even see the damage our race is causing the whole planet, we are destroying our and other species living habitats and I just hate seeing that happening. We use every possible source this planet has to offer for our own benefit, in order for us to grow us a community. And we will keep using those sources until they will run out, until earth has nothing more to offer us… As we evolve our society and human community we cause more and more damage to this planet. And we will keep causing this damage until there is nothing left for us to destroy.
It's sad but that is how it is, there are things we can do to try and stop it and it doesn’t include helping the weaker among us. We need to start paying a lot more attention to our environment to nature. We need to stop being so selfish about everything this planet has to offer. And we should start controlling our population…
Killing ourselves while at the same time killing everything around us is again a very selfish move. |

Your arguement is fundamentally flawed, humans are part of nature, as are bacteria, flowers, nematodes, etc etc, they are all made from base pairs (amino acids) aka DNA. To say that humans are the only species that is "greedy" which in and of itself is a foolish word to ascribe because it imparts emotion. The fact of the matter is all species compete for resources, its part of survival. So take a genetics class and stop trying to be so deep, cause your so called facts are baseless. One last note as far as all this doom and gloom you forecast, technology and ingenuity are what solve these problems, not sitting around wishing for asteroids to hit the earth. You're no great philosopher, you're thoughts are extremely radical and you have been brainwashed into thinking that consumption is bad. So why don't you lead the charge and stop consuming peoples time with bogus e.

Another anti-consumptionist, I think you guys should start realizing that the earth is not unique, in so far as resources, considering the vastness of the universe, resources are the least of our problems, it harnessing those resources that are important. And there will never be nothing left, thats a dumb statement, nature has the ability to adapt far beyond what humans are capable of. In return for conscience and specilaization humans have given up the ability to adapt rapidly, thats not the case for simpler lifeforms which may not be as complex but can evolve and adapt more rapidly.
