^^this just shows the very common ignorance to and isolationism that is so popular in this country. the war on Iraq was further fueled by the anti-French sentiments that so stupidly arose. ppl were more at war with France than they were at Iraq. how bout u travel around the world, and see who thinks Bush is a good and deserving president. ive been to 9 countries in the world, and ive seen demonstrations against our president Bush, BIGGER than demonstrations here in our own country. even the countries whos prime minister or president pledge their support to Bush, doesnt mean the whole population does. just look at Spain. just look at the UK. just look at Italy. those leaders are not gunna be reelected (Spain's Aznar wasnt), just because of their support for Bush.

and FYI, the pope was against the war in Iraq...... and the american populace thinks Bush is a moral person? how does he sleep at night? im atheist, but if ur gunna say "oooo no, France and Germany dont like the fact that Bush is president"... than ill name a list of most of the worlds countries and religions that dont.

It's a fact. No other human being in history has been protested by more people ever. Everywhere he goes there are huge crowds protesting him.

It's an interesting fact that people in both NYC and Washington, D.C. who were actually attacked, wanted change. They voted for the other guy because there were not satisfied. I'm from D.C. I wanted revenge too. But on OSAMA BIN LADEN and the Saudi's who funded his terrorists. Right now he is sitting pretty making home videos to give us his opinions. I don't feel safer with Saddam in jail. I am very worried about OSAMA walking free.

I know this may not be the best example. But for all you baseball fans. If your star pitcher can strike out everyone except for the guy that can actually hit the grand slams, then what? I feel that our president already pitched for 4 years and he is still not getting the job done. Maybe he just wanted to strike out the guy his daddy couldn't.

Will he make our country safer by sending more troops to Iraq? Will baning gay marriage really strengthen families? Will we receive a moral prize for not allowing abortion? Will passing bills like the RAVE act and Patriot act really keep us from the awful drugs?

Tune in 4 years from now.

As for all the states that voted to ban gay marriage. I wonder if now magically your family is stronger. I also wonder if your family will remain stronger as you keep all the gay couples out of your state. Finally, I wonder if Dick Cheney's family is stronger as a result of baning gay marriage.

yea and guess what kerry voted against. . . . ill let u figure it out.

uh huh. but leaving up to the states is i guess the right idea, shame that some people in this country are so backward, but that is something you cant change. what scares me the most is WHO bush is going to appoint to the supreme court. he is way too religious (but calling yourself a christian and then participating in a war killing millions of innocent people, that is a contradiction in itself), and i have nothing against religion, but pushing those views so much, like bush does, on people is wrong, and appointing supreme court judges that can possible ban gay marriages and ban abortions, well that scares me and is a step backward. listen i dont like bush, i never will and same with 48% of the country. end of discussion, his 'politics' are just too conservative for me. i am done with this topic, trying to talk to conservatives is like talking to a wall.

i was there to see the burning flesh and rubble and see body parts. i was one of those families being told by ppl to be optimistic about our family members that were stolen from us. my dad was in the WTC. i was 100% FOR the war in Afghanistan. stop referring to Iraq as a "war on terrorism", because it wasnt at all. none of the hijackers were Iraqi, and it is known that Hussein and Bin Laden are enemies. did u have a dad in the WTC???? cos if u did, maybe u would understand that having 10,000 troops in Afghanistan and having 100's of thousands in Iraq, is no WAR ON TERRORISM at all.... especially with Bin Laden alive and well, making videos taunting us. theres nothing u can possibly say to that, now is there?

Well first, I'm sorry for your loss. I can empathize with you because I lost family & Friends in there as well. Don't take what i wrote so personally or as an attack to you. Now don't go assuming that I didn't take into account anything you wrote. I said I don't think we should still have troops in Iraq. They should have been pulled out a long time ago. I believe we were there to remove Saddam because he was indirectlty involved in funding terrorist organizations. That's my opinion, and I'm not forcing it on anyone. If you know something about Hussein & Bin Laden being enemies, please direct me to where I can find that info because I am not aware of anything that states that. That fact that he is making videos and taunting us enfuriates me even more because we still haven't caught him. Although I didn't lose an immediate family member like my father, The losses I suffered were still heartbreaking, so don't go playing them down with asking me a question if I lost my father there. You don't no about me. For your information, not that I owe it to you or anything, I don't even know my father. I never had the pleasure of meeting him. So yeah, there IS something that I can say about it.

closed-minded, conservative people are the reason our country is what it is today.

Sorry Erin. I beg to Differ. i believe it's the Liberals & the democratic organization that held office prior to Bush taking office.

the problem is that NOW people will HAVE TO HAVE the child that they do not want. so that is a better choice than terminating a possible pregnancy the morning after?

I think pro-life people should finally call themselves for what they really are "pro-restrcition" people. If you have a choice, it is up to THE PREGNANT PERSON to make the call.

as a Christian, it is pretty clear "do upon others as you want done upon yourself" or whatever it is in english. Nobody likes being told what to do, so give others the opportunity to do what they think is right. But I guess we are still in the middle of the crusades, where we need to force our religion upon the nonbelievers.
