Sal, get your reading glasses...
When Kerry said "I've actually passed 56 individual bills that I've personally written" he was counting everything that had passed the Senate, whether or not it cleared the House. He also counts 24 resolutions that have no force of law. |

yay! i can't wait for a 13 year old to get raped, and is stuck raising the baby since Bush is stuck in the 1700s. oh, and i'm also excited for hundreds more solidiers to die in iraq...the draft sounds like fun too. and anyone who voted Bush and are friends with a gay person- have fun telling them you think they are a second class citizen and don't deserve the rights you have.
gonna be a great next 4 years! |
It's ok, if need to send more troops over there again. It will be my third activation in 2 years.... |

vlad what exactly has BUSH done?
i can think of...
- waged war on a country that wasn't involved with 911
- lost thousands of jobs
- given tax breaks ONLY to the wealthy
- shrugged off over 1000 solidiers killed in iraq
- proposed a bill to deny rights to homosexuals
- made the morning after pill for women prescription only (encouraging bringing more unwanted babies in the world)
ahhh what a great 4 years. can't wait for 4 more. |
Who cares if they werent directly involved with 911? They are indirectly involved with the terrorist organizations that did organize it.
I cant say that didnt happen, but its not totally on Bush's shoulders. After such an economy boom under Clinton's administration, which was very much fueled by the growth of the internet and .com's in the 90's - the bubble that was blowing up had to eventually burst and when it did, Bush handled it very well and took us out of the recession rather quickly. Since 2003, Bush has created 1.9 million jobs.
Tax breaks only to the wealthy? Not true. Everyone got a tax break. Some got alittle bit (literally) more than others. http://www.factcheck.org/article.aspx?docID=280
I cant really comment on the soldier thing, Im not exactly Bush's conscience, so I dont know what hes thinking.
If one of your biggest objectives in this campaign is homosexual civil rights, you need to get your priorities straight. Personally, I have nothing against thing, they dont bother me and I know quite a few, but its not something Im that concerned about.
The abortion thing, well, I told this to one other person, I do think women should be allowed the right to an abortion under certain situations like rape. Other than that, if you like the "feeling" or are careless in your sexual life, and dont use a rubber or what not, and get pregnant, well thats your fault, your problem, your responsibility - sorry. |

all you babies stop crying and do something about it. Just because Bush is president, doesnt mean you can't change things or make a difference. If i were in your position, I would stand up, protest, do watever it took if something meant that much to me regardless of who's president. Use all that energy u all use to bash Bush and do something constructive with it. It's your life, do something with it. |
I believed we have tried that many times...
did it work?:whip: :whip: |

He will never get elected. His best chance is to be someone in the cabinet or maybe the VP (which is also risky). The reason being he is an italian catholic. |

they do have a pretty extensive vacation every year. but honestly, he was in senate for mostly republican controlled terms so that does have something to do with how much u can get passed. GOPers wouldn't be able to get much done/passed in dem controlled senates either :) |

| i disagree, people around the country have a lot of respect for him after what he did in New York. Leadership is after all one of the top qualities candidates for president have to show. Can't really compare him to anyone else that will be running against him... |
