I am just sick with the fact that Bush is in office for another 4 years, and Chaney controlling the strings.
I'm sick of a war that has no substance.
I'm sick lies and false promises.
I'm sick the rich getting richer

But I am truely sick that my brother has to perform a second tour in Iraq and my ing nephew and niece may be called to action because of an increase in military involment.

you Bush. If you think I'm being over bias and offensive, open your eyes and please prove to me why we would want a phoney back in office?

I didn't vote based on who's a better canidate. If you actually believe that Bush was a better canidate, then you must be high. Neither were better canidates. I voted by track record, Bush did not do anything for the country in his term except hurt it. So why not put someone new in there? At least they couldn't do worst then Bush, but now we get Bush to do worst then Bush.

I'm just disgusted at our country today...

can't agree no more....

Ehh, all of you will hush when everything starts getting better.

Look at today for example... the stock market is up all over. (DJIA is +101, Nasdaq is +14, S&P 500 is +11) Looking pretty good to me.

THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO THOSE WHO DIED IN A NON-SENSE WAR!!!!

Oh please. Why is it necessary to bring that in?

Vlad wasn't trying to say that everything is now getting dandy. He's just trying to be optimistic.

no im grasping your point, but the point your trying to get across has nothing to do with an unjust war in iraq.

I don't think anyone was hoping for world peace through the results of this election.

EDIT: the clinton "scandal" had nothing to do with his presidency, only his sex life. bush has lied several times to the public about the state of our nation...wow, what an admirable president

That's another thing I don't understand. Why did he get impeached for that?

Does his personnal life affects his performance in office?

Whatever, yall can hate me or love me for voting for Bush, and believing that gay rights (right now) isnt, in my opinion, something that is as important as other issues and that I dont support national healthcare. But I still love you. ;)

Now, lets flip this around... lets stop bashing Bush and accept the fact that we have 4 more years with him, and lets focus on issues that need to be addressed and resolved. Since we are all so smart, lets throw out some ways and ideas of fixing what was started.

On thing though that I think Bush really needs to address is the environment, it seems to be the back issue in this entire campaign, since its so focused on the war. Everything can to perfect with the war and economy, but if we have a poor enviornment, how long will we live?

all i hear here is that bush started the war in iraw when it fact was we the people of the US. After the attack on the twin towers the majority of the US wanted blood and revenge bush gave the people what the want...

I think I still remember there were very strong resistants and massive protests when BUSH turn the gun against IRAQ...

I'm not arguing that there will always be someone people want to go after, but a war in iraq wasnt the right place to be looking for it, nor should the leader of perhaps the most powerful and influential country in the world be bold enough to simply go looking for "the next country to attack".

was anyone watching that bush victory speech just now? i think don king was the only minority in the entire crowd...

sucks, I'm getting into this thread late. I haven't read any above replies yet.

What disappointed me the most was that Bush won by 3 million popular votes. That no more young voters voted in this race than in 2000. That only about 50% (as usual) of all eligible voters voted. And that 11 states voted against gay marriage.

Now it's not even all Bush's fault. It's the American peoples'. I am very discouraged and kind of lost. I don't know what to say.
