Don't really think its his fault. He wont accept mediocre players because united isnt a mediocre club but at the same time, everyone seems to be wanting to go to chelsea now.
Im sure if we came in for Pennant or Duff, they would have come to old trafford rather than liverpool or newcastle but the players we are looking at are all going to Chelsea, Barca, Madrid or wanting to stick on in Italy.
United seem to be in cost cutting mode and top players seem to be aware they can earn bigger bucks at other clubs. |

18.5 million actually. He is a great player but that is a lot more than hes worth and it outlines how badly fergie wanted a holding midfielder.
If we get Mascherano, i will cry tears of joy but then again, il be doing that with every signing that we make from now on. |

LOL To be honest, too expensive for that player, but nonetheless a good signing.
Now Mascherano is really class... hope you guys get a good team going so Chelski has some kind of opposition this season. |

| Hah valencia apparently offered 17 million pounds plus washed up fossil roberto ayala for the winker. Whats with all the Spanish clubs thinking they are in dreamland all of a sudden with Madrid thinking they can land Kaka, valencia thinking they can land Ronaldo and Barcelona thinking they can win La Liga for the third time. |
