Carrick is not the solution either |
Only time will tell whether Carrick is the solution or not...For the time being, United seem to be doing just fine without their so called 'best player'.
Oh...and the only time Inter ever wins a title, is when the top two teams above them get 15 points reduced. Mark my words...Inter have bought every player under the sun, and they'll still lose the title they were given last year. Why ? Because Inter aren't winners...they haven't been winners for the last 10 years. They're Seria A's version of the spiceboys. |

| im getting irritated reading about this hargreaves thing everyday ...i say snub him for the moment and pick him up in january for possibly cheaper since hes obviously not passionate about playing in germany anymore and his performances might go down |

Getting Owen Hargreaves for anything over $6 at this point is ridiculous. Bayern are going to hold United's feet over the fire if it comes down to a bidding war, and paying them $17 million for a man who's only recently come to promenience is lunacy. I don't know why United are persisting with him when a much better option in Maschereno is out there. I know he doesn't have european experience, but from his solid display at the world cup you'd be getting a no nonsense holding midfielder who's only 22.
United can do without another midfielder comming in till the Jan break. At the next transfer window the situation can be reevaluated. Like Raveed said, no club wants to keep an unhappy player. If Hargreaves is unsettled, Bayern will be keen to get him off the books. |

Im pretty sure mascherano and tevez are going to stay with corinthians until chelsea or madrid come calling. If mascherano said he was interested in coming to united, i dont think we would have even looked at hargreaves.
Tevez is very keen to leave but thats going to be atleast 20 million pounds. I think another problem united are having at the moment are sentiments over talent. Players like Scholes, Neville, Giggs, Solskjaer are man united through and through but are now past their prime yet sometimes I feel we play them in the starting line up because of their undying loyalty to the club. Commitement like that is hard to find in this day and age but I think there are better players out there who could replace them.
Giggs is my all time favorite united player and i like scholes as well but im not a big fan of Neville and especially soskjaer whose only claim to fame is the honor of scoring probably the most important goal in our clubs history. |

Oh come on, you don't like OLE !!!! The baby faced assasin...the man who delivered on United greatest night in 99. Ffft...
Ole's a legend for good reason. He's United through and through...he's never bitched about playing time, hasn't asked for more money like that Rio c-unt, hasn't wanted a transfer when others came asking. He even supported the fans against Glazer. Plus...he's one of the best subs to ever come off the bench for United.
Fans love loyalty and true passion, and solskjaer epitomizes that.
Also...looks like Tevez is close to signing for a club in England. Might be Utd, although ski will probably step in last minute and snatch him away with their dirty roubles. |

ya solskjaer is quite the role model as far as loyalty is concerned but I just think he needs to be given another role in the club like a coach or something
