Bro look if you actually knew politics you'd know that Isreal does what the US tells them, it's beneficial for Isreal to be attacking Lebanon in the eyes of the US...as soon as Lebanon counterattacks the US will step in. They are biting their time & this stems back a long time.
Isreal isn't w/out the US which is basically why the war in the middle east began.
& please just cuz you're not Cuban don't sit there & call Cuba a retarded island.

Are you kidding. U.S already says they are already planing on shutting it down, and finding a new home for those freaks that are in GITMO. You obvisouly do not know what the U.N stands for. The U.S going against the U.N will be the U.S contradicing them selves on issues like the invasion or Iraq and the times the U.N were not allowed in for inspections. |

Maybe so but that treaty was entered with communist russia to avoid the communists from placing nuclear missle silos in Cuba when the Cubal missle crisis was averted. Russia is no longer offically Communist and no longer has such strong ties to Cuba, and would not even dream of putting nuclear missle silos there now.
Yet we will not be invading Cuba as it would violate international law. Of course Bush may well claim that the "tourist" resorts Castro has built along the beaches in Cuba are really "terrorist" resorts, and use that as an excuse to go in. Hell it worked in Iraq, "food of mass consumption" (which is all they found) equaled "weapons of mass destruction." (which they never found).
Unfortunately the fact that Fidel is sick, and even if he dies, will not change much at all. His brother has been running things there for a while, and he is actually worse than Fidel. The only hope of a revolution there is within the people in Cuba, a population which has been severely weakened by years of oppression and straight out brainwashing by the government. Just look at elian gonzalez and what they have done to his head. He came out on the news the other day (maybe 60 minutes) and during his interview he sounded like Fidel's public relations manager and went so far as to claim he was a prisoner here in Miami.
The US may well try covert operations and/or planting people inside Cuba to try and help start a revolution. But it ultimately will boil down to the will of the people in Cuba. Irresprective of whatever happens, Fidels' death would be a great victory to all Cuban exiles that fled the country as I have heard many of them stress how much they want to outlive the bastard. |

Israel doesn't have OIL omggggggggggggggggggggg the United Arab Emirates own the oil. Israel is just a piece of land with nothing given to the jewish by the brits.

Honestly saying nothing will change is pretty stupid & I am not saying you are but the Cuban revolution happened how long ago? And the ONLY reason he became leader was because he was elected by people who believed he had good intentions.
That was a very long time ago & 50 years later A LOT of things could change & happen. |

Yeah nothing boils people's blood over like politics, and this new development is going to have people here in Miami in an uproar. I guarantee you a lot of people are getting the champagne ready for when/if Fidel dies. Hell I am about to go buy my parents a bottle as they need to celebrate as that bastard made them leave their homeland 45 years ago.
And BTW Alien is a very good choice of movies to watch. |
