I mix all of my sets with that. But I use the old version, not the new one because it has this flaw I wish they removed. |

I'm trying my hand at it, with version 5.0! Having a lot of fun, but also wrecking like a mothera. :haha: |

| Stevie, do you have 2 soundcards in your computer so you can monitor or do you have a different config? |

Dj Amtrak ftw, lol! That's the version I'm using. It has no equalizer and is a very amateur program to use, but also very fun!
The problem with the new version is that everytime you load an mp3 into their player it would make the file bigger in size. PCDJ calls it an indexing data frame which stores loops, cuepoints, and other info, but that's terrible if you have all your tracks increase in file size. |

Technically you need 2 soundcards, but I only use one because I have the special advantage of having multiple outputs since my soundcard is surround sound. So I use one of the outputs for my monitors. |

That indexing data frame sounds lame, man.

I only have one soundcard installed but I can pull out my old Soundblaster16 from my now dead Compaq 500MHz piece of computer, so the mixes I'm making now are all wrecked as due to lack of monitor. :haha: It's still fun though! When I get better I'll def. upload some...maybe Boomer can host them for me. :) |

Just to let you know, the old 5.0 also has the indexing feature which you cannot turn off. The only difference is that the old version doesn't increase the mp3 file size as dramatically as the new one does. In other words the increase is so small in the old 5.0 version that you don't have to worry about it taking any room on your hard drive. By the way that extra file space isn't permanent. You can return an mp3 back to its original file size by using a utility called mptrim which you can download for free right here.

True that. Good stuff, man.
I made a mix...of course there's wrecks everywhere but so far my girl Enigmatik is dying. :D
Tracklist:
Above & Beyond - Far From In Love (Original mix)
Carrie Skipper - Time Goes By (Super 8 deep mix)
Marcos - Just for a day (Marc van Linden remix)
RMB - Deep Down Below (Humate remix)
Rank 1 - Airwave (Original mix)
Paul van Dyk - Forbidden Fruit (BT & Paul van Dyk Food of Love mix)
Saltwater - Serenity (Alphazone remix) :eyespop: :eyespop:
I seriously can't remember who or where I got Serenity from, but that song is in' NASTY!!! IMO I think I made a great choice using that as a closing track. :) |

You got my attention with the Humate Remix.:eyespop:
I'm trying to make a bangin' tech-trance mix myself, but I haven't been up to date with what's going on in those neck of the woods. I think I might just make a thread. |
