Finally!!! That annoying music is gone.

So yeah, I have an update. God bless those people who have successful interracial or multicultural relationships (i.e. marriage or whatever else they're looking for).

Mine didn't work, precisely because of the different values we had, and now my family has be convinced that being with someone with my own background is the way to go. :(

I never thought I'd say that, but with age (lol I'm about to hit the big 3-0) comes experience and I think that when you grow old with someone you want to embrace the same values and principles you were raised with as you grow old with someone, sorta like a comfort blanket. I always thought I was a man of the world and would always be willing to carry my "relativist" outlook of the world into my own personal life-long relationship but I don't see that happening. :(

I guess Digi wins and I'm a universalist after all. lol, no, not really, but still I guess I have to really analyze the values and principles of the next person I'm with and if they share those with me, maybe there's a chance of another multicultural relationship but now that my expectations have changed I guess it's highly unlikely.

Discuss?
