FunkyCrew
lol at all this marriage talk :) <3

Ania - haha yeah my family is also back at home overseas :) but both my parents are so cool about my dating life, it's unbelievable (because they can be un-cool about everything else lol)... I guess it's also the fact that I would only talk about serious relationships (of which I probably had 3 in my life, Mike being the 3rd), soooo they don't have much to judge from :)
when I was back home a few weeks ago, BOTH my grandma's had pics of me and Mike standing somewhere lol, AND they are openly demanding great grandchildren, gah!

I am different from you in one sense, though, and I'm still sorta confused about my identity in that I hate the loneliness of being out of a relationship. I really need to have that special person I can talk to at the end of the day, someone to go to the movies with and share those special moments. I really miss that. I feel like I have so many things in life that I want to share with that life-long partner and that the energy and affection I have will only gain meaning once I'm with someone. That's a big part of my personality and although I have friends and enjoy their company immensely, it's nothing like having that special love.

lol that was pretty cheesy, even by my standards!!! :p I'm an idealist when it comes to relationships and unfortunately that has ended in heartache in every relationship I've been in...I blindly believe in that fairy-tale sort of romance. :(

I feel exactly the way you do bro, except I've come to realize that if you cannot rely on yourself and need to love someone as a crutch to keep your life going, then something is really wrong.

It's finding that inner peace to fight through the tough times and the loneliest moments that'll get through hard times, when you're out there by yourself.

Being generally a solitary and an introvert, (yeah, shocking, I know :p) took me many years (and some really tough times) for me to accept that.

PS: Way too much PLUR in this thread :p

No no no Yohan
Fahad and I will marry you.
I'll have to run it by the Pakistani Muslim League and Awami National Party (not sure if either of those still exist) - but I'm sure they'll approve a three-way marriage since the people involved are all so ridiculously good looking :toocool:
