Exactly, I'm starting to as well. I still enjoy trance, but i'm starting to gradually (slowly but surely) get into house (mostly deep and progressive house), breaks (mostly progressive and electro breaks), and downtempo/chill-out/ambient. |

| he seems a pretty in negative and bitter person in his interviews dscribing trance as e (yet he is a in trance DJ?) and calling people in the scene wankers etc...he should look at himself first collaboration with Lange was e in the first place and he hasnt doen that many tunes to back himself up with 100% that he is not e himself |

but unfortunately for him he doesn't make or play the 5% that he's talking about... |

| I haven't completely given up trance (as evident in my top 5 tunes) but I think i've been opened up to other genres more, considering I've gotten tired of trance riffs and really stereotypical sounding stuff. Don't hate breakdowns and still enjoy them, but am really getting into other stuff lately. There are fewer and fewer trance records nowadays that really impress me, and not many great mixed CDs IMO. |

| 95% is probably true. You can easily hear ninteen dull trance records for every genuinely interesting one in 2006. |

Anyone calling Gaz a hypocrite probably hasnt seen him live.
His tlists are full of non ASOT/mcprog bs, he plays alot of good unknown tracks, sure he plays a big tune here or there, but his style is original.
What he says in the interview is 100% correct
His favourite genre is dying, so sure hes pissed.
Better then living in a dream like Armin thinking that trance is now bigger then ever. |

yeah i'm glad i'm not the only one who can see that, he's been changing direction with his sound recently to quite good effect, imo
but like i say it was less than a year ago he was producing/releasing pretty generic stuff.. so it seems pretty soon to make a statement like that. although to be fair he states it's 95% of the stuff he gets sent, who are we to assume what that sounds like... |
