| Boston didn't deserve Oden after the tank job they pulled last year. That was almost as embarrassing as their pick will wind up being. I can't decide if I'm more irritated that Durant and Oden are going to the West, or happy to see Memphis and Boston get the raw end of the deal. |

memphis didn't tank. it was boston and milwaukee. memphis was just that bad |

memphis suddenly got hot the instant they'd locked up their spot. They weren't so obviously tanking, but that fact alone should raise more than a few eyebrows.
Besides, if Gasol hadn't been hurt, they wouldn't have been there, anyways. |

the celtics have already won 16 championships, 3 in the 80s. the celtics getting the 5th pick just balances everything out. in the long run (hundreds of years with hundreds of lotteries) everything balances out.
why should the celtics deserve another decade of championship potential when other cities have been starving for decades?

that hurts on two levels, ass...
first, for saying such things about the greatest QB or all time...
second, I'm not the typical new england fan, I've gone over this many a time in the MLB thread about Red Sox Nation, etc... so I won't go into it...
You think I don't want Ainge and Doc out... EVERYONE DOES, but guess what, we don't run the team, so.... we'll have to wait till the Chinaman get here, and when he sucks dick(because HUGE expectations in Beantown for ANYONE), then they'll both be gone... until then, ODEN or DURANT were the one thing that would have made life with Ainge and Doc not such a bad thing... thats why everyone is so upset, we got the TWO dinks running the team, we were looking for that hope, didn't in happen....
bottom line is, you guys are ing stupid!!!
if your team was set up with the 2nd worst record and got the NUMBER ING FIVE pick, you'd be upset too... yeah ITS THE LOTTERY, but you know what, thats in bull when we get the absolute WORST case scenairo, I'm sorry, but BULL!!!! So I don't even want to ING hear it... you guys are in s... and that's my basic argument at this POINT...

also, I don't feel any sympathy for the Celtics for three reasons:
1. They tanked as deliberately as anybody could have. It was a joke. They didn't even play their ty starters.
2. The Red Sox and Patriots are already good. Boston has enough other teams to root for. You guys can deal with having one ty one, too.
3. I just don't like Boston fans, and I'm sick of having to hear about the teams they support. I hope they do draft Yi, 'cuz he's gonna be this year's Darko. :) |

| on subject with Boston, 1 start is to get rid of Ainge and Rivers. Next is to get rid of trash that costs too much. Imo, they have a bright future with Jefferson, Rondo, and West, but they have a long way to go to reach playoff status. Lastly, they should ease Pierce's miseries, and let him go/trade him. There are many teams that would love to have him on their team. |
