| back at work i knew i should have called out my boss is even out ffs but i came in to get paid and i got a package coming in for me today so..... ugh... just sucks can time go by quick today?:whip: |

So today my boss brings us to lunch and takes us to the movies. For what, I dont know, because she didnt say "Oh thank you for all the hard work you've done, lets go out!" or anything, she just said we were going (??) LOL no complaints.
But the story is at the movies: we are leaving the theatre and my coworker spots Slick Rick!! (the real deal, the was no mistaking, and the people with him confirmed!) Even weirder, he was piling in massive amounts of theatre food, carrying it in one of those huge cafeteria bins that hold the silverware! Like, did they just LET Slick RIck walk in with this huge ass bin?!?! bwahaha! Then he proceeds to dump piles and piles of butter on his popcorn to which my coworker yells: "Yo, Slick, easy on the butter, man!" And Slick just smiles that iced out smile at us.....

Haha I once went to some Rave in Miami with Spacemen and Chris Lawrence and DJ Dan and Edgar V + I forgot whoelse and Slick Rick.
He was the most out of placed person on that line up but probably the most fun - EVER!
He did all the hits and at the end proceeded to lecture about "that extacy bull " - the crowd went crazy. :stongue: |

ahhh normally I have packed-full days (September-June), but this week starts summer hours *dun dun dun* (scary music)
I love and hate summer:
Love because I get paid Fridays off, PLUS about 6 weeks of paid vacation to blow.
Hate because there is NOTHING (I repeat, NOTHING) to do here during the summer. Literally online all damn day until September comes around. Regardless of the time I get off, sitting her for hours a day is KILLER.
Help! sooo bored! :( :mad: |

I get six weeks on top of all the sick/vaca I have taken since last summer ;) They give us a lot to keep us from running away from our clients and keeping us sane ;)
Sorry boo, I take my job super seriously (In the fall, winter and spring months LOL). I cant afford to be the girl coming in hungover and tired anymore.....
That being said, I can go out on Thursdays in the summer! woop for paid fridays!!!! :) |
