I had a computer prob this morning so I called over one of the network ppl. We started talking n the first question he asked me was,"so are you excited about the iPhone?" Lol! Started getting into conversation about it. Turns out there r probably a few execs here who will have it by Monday because they r top dogs within dept/industry. Also I was told that every employee here probably will get a discount on the iPhone from At&T eventually since the company buys TONS of phones yearly (but whatever still too pricey hahaa)
Too bad I'm not a typical early adopter - besides being BROKE-ASS, I so do not think its worth getting right now. I am *very* intrigued by it though and its def been awhile that I've been so. Def very curious about the functionality on it and can't wait to play around with one. Heheh |

Cosi IS the best! It's def alright when they bring in the healthy/good food, I guess my prob. is it does not feel like a break if I don't go outside and feel the sun/wind/rain/snow???

Funny you are talking about the iPhone because I hear about it all day everyday at work (I work in the telecom industry for a competitor) and I am sick of it cause I go home and CNN is sayin' the same. Frankly, I can't stand all this devotion to it when there is so much fd up sh*t goin on in the world ... I mean most people don't even earn $500 in 2 weeks! I'm sure it will sell good and next month they will come out with the iPhone2 that will make you coffee in the morning :o
I would feel like my laptop and iPod are extra baggage now if I get the iPhone (I'm kind of a minimalist :happy2: ) Whaddyatink? |

^^ I'd just wait for the 2nd generation to come out...which, judging by past history, should be just a few months from now...LOL!
I don't even USE my 20gb ipod anymore its a 4th gen, old, and its collecting dust, meh
Anyway...work is getting BUSYYYY and my blackberry batterys getting low so I def gotta get off. Have a great day all ;) |

^ Def. no blackberry for me. I put it into my contract when I got my job and sure enough they offered to 'give' me a blackberry. I said no thanks.

lol nah this is my personal one...i ended up texting WAAYYY too often with regular phone, used to rack up about $100 in overage charges...got to the point where INCOMING was already 400 msgs (can u believe that?~~~) So I got the 8700 for free plus a 2yr data/phone plan, 1000 anytime min, UNLIMITED data/text/internet = $59.99 a month. cannot go WRONG with that at all. =)
there is NOO freakin' way i would let MY boss keep TABS on me...well unless i was making DA MONEY. THEN...maybe i would accept being chained like dat...rofl! even at my last job, my boss saw i had a BB and asked for my messenger PIN i was like umm NO.
(hmm i managed to SNEAK onto my company internet JUST NOW cuz i had to keep my promise to a friend -- yes you YB <3 ;) . but NO MORE doing this AFTER today, cant be establishing bad habits even tho we have privacy screens so no one can see whats on our screens. Work computer will only be for work and thats THAT. lol.) |

So into my 4th week of work here and I still have jack to do. This sucks I am wasting my time!!! BORED as hell today!!

When does this job end? Personally I feel crazy writing stupid cover letters and looking for jobs, this is boring as hell but at least I have Wimbledon to watch during my search :) |

Wimbldeon Update - Serena Williams fell down in pain and has barely moved for 7min...now Serena is a bad ass so to see her crumble to the ground and continue screaming in pain is freaky. She's back on court with tears in her eyes :(

aww. yeah the whole jobsearching thing DRIVES me NUTS!!! :( after 2-3 crazy months, between May and June I finally decided to give up for a lil bit and just enjoy my "time off."
but hang in there wai...btw ur sig made me laugh :haha:

I've been laughing at that quote for about two months now...hahahaha, Selma a Montreal TA wrote that in response to someone seriously asking if fat people could go to see Tiesto spin.
As for Serena, she's a true champion it would be sad to see her go due to a severe calf cramp. Plus I want to see her against Henin in the next round, that'll should be a pretty crazy quarter final (Australian open champ against French open champ). Also no idea if you play, but if so we should go hit some balls since we essentially have a lot of the day free. |
