i work for a small business on long island pertaining to voice response systems, voice and data communications, cat 5-6 cabling and setups, internet service, lans, wans, etc. currently i'm drinking a beer and checking portfolio updates with regards to the NYSE. let me tell you. im so excited right now i just might my pants.
As well as working in this hole i am currently interviewing in the greater nyc area for a job in media/ marketing, advertising as this is what i went to school for.
in the meantime ill stay drunk, and bitter, and post on TA in my spare time.

| we do small amounts of day trading. im not interested anymore like i was so i stay away from those tasks. honestly i want a job in media which is what i went to school for. but dont get me wrong it was / still is fun. |

| do you have any experience...I have some connects for internship type stuff not sure if there pay or not- but you know with that industry its all about getting your foot in the door. My contact deals mainly with recent college grads so its pretty low level stuff. |

im currently seeking an assistant media buyer position within a fortune 500 company so far i have interviewed at viacom, mediacom and a few others i have another one this week so we'll see. what im searching for is entry level. im looking to grow with a company obviously. |

I'm starting to hate my job.
Same old boring everyday, a monkey could do it.
I'm not challenged at all. I'm riding it out till the end of the year (vacay setup etc) and looking for a new job starting next year. F my company. My potential is being wasted. |

I work in central jersey. Depending on how much $$$.
I know there is work in NYC but the commute would kill me |
