i generally don't pay to see cartoons in the theater but it was a very cute movie that adults and kids could enjoy. i'd see it again. |

I just got back about 10 minutes ago. So I'm officially a member of Local Union #3. The thing took entirely too long. We walked in around 6pm. There were some people checking everyone in, that took about 25 minutes for it to get done. We didn't get started until around 7:15pm, give or take, which was absolutely ridiculous. Everyone was starting to get pissed off because they were taking so long. The whole "ceremony" took about 45 minutes. We took an oath then got our cards. Some people had family members in the union with them there. They were the ones who got to go first so they can present them their card. Had I known this I would have taken my dad, but they didn't let anyone know that's how it works. Then when they were done with that they started with everyone else. Since it was done alphabetically I knew I was gonna be sitting for a while since my last name starts with S. Once the guy reading off the names got to M, he started choosing names at random. I would have been out a good 15 min earlier if he hadn't done that. Oh well, it's a one time thing and it's over with. Atleast I have all the benefits to look forward to now! |

well this girl I was sorta talking to before my ex gf. I am taking it slow with her. I just hung out with her again tonight and had a great time. I really feel happy again. I was with someone before and it was fun while it lasted but it wasn't meant to be. We'll see what happens with the new girl. We're not official or anything like that but I know where my heart is... |

well i would suggest some clubs... but i hear most of the edm parties/clubs have gotten shut down. the main thing i love about going back to taiwan is the food. you gotta try the beef noodle soup at taoyuan street (near ximen), and also the soup dumplings (i forget the name of the restaurant but its very famous). hrm... what else, i dunno if you're into hiking or nature, but if you go up yangming shan, the views up there are really amazing. you have to go a good distance up though. they also got lots of natural hot springs where you can just chillout and relax.
if i think of anything else, i'll post it up.. |

I did the SYS memorial hall, two temples on the blue line and had lunch with my friend whose wedding i attended. Had Taiwanese Noodle Soup at the Ambassador Hotel :tongue2

| i managed to squeeze in night market on my last night out in taipei. incredible prices on food there. I got a chocolate dipped frozen banana (one of the few things I can easily trust). |
