I had a job interview and also might get hired at a different company tomorrow...both of which are right next to the location of the gas explosion yesterday. Now I am bored at work at home because of this.

Hunter bags stage victory. Win is a first for South Africa
South Africa's Robert Hunter exults as he crosses the finish line first in the 11th stage of the Tour de France.

By Jamey Keaten, Associated Press | July 20, 2007

MONTPELLIER, France -- After six years in the Tour de France, Robert Hunter finally won one for South Africa.

"I'm really happy. I have no words to describe what I'm feeling right now," Hunter said.

"I'm hoping it will boost the sport in South Africa to get more young riders up to the professional level in Europe."

Hunter won the 113.4-mile 11th stage from Marseille to Montpellier in 3 hours 47 minutes 50 seconds, outpacing second-place Fabian Cancellara of Switzerland and Murilo Fischer of Brazil in third. The main pack of riders finished in the same time.

It was the second stage win for Hunter's Barloworld team. Juan Mauricio Soler of Colombia took the ninth stage Tuesday.

Rasmussen retained his lead over his main rivals for the yellow jersey. He is 2:35 ahead of second-place Alejandro Valverde and 2:39 in front of Iban Mayo in third.

With about 40 miles left, Alexandre Vinokourov's Astana team accelerated, splitting the main pack in two -- leaving France's Christophe Moreau and the small group trailing far behind.

The Tour will head into the medium-sized mountains today for the 12th stage, taking riders on a 110.9-mile jaunt from Montpellier to Castres, a stage likely to favor breakaway riders.

The next big test is likely to come tomorrow with the first of two individual time trials in and around the town of Albi. Three days in the Pyrenees mountains loom at the start of the third week before the July 29 finish on the Champs-Elysees in Paris.

The Tour was dealt a blow Wednesday after Germany's cycling federation said Patrik Sinkewitz, who dropped out of the race after a crash last weekend, had tested positive for high levels of testosterone in a surprise doping test last month.

"There's nothing right in what happened. It's something that the sport needs to get over," Hunter said. "Unfortunately, you are going to have stupid people in the world that are going to try to take advantage of the situation.

" But at the end of the day, cycling is the most controlled sport in the world."

she never stops talking and i mean that. today i'm washing my face and she comes to the bathroom door and starts telling me that her hair appointment was cancelled:wtf: why do i care about that!!! i tune her out and she keeps going then pauses because i guess i was supposed to respond to whatever she said and since i don't give a i wasn't listening. i said "huh" then i make my breakfast go in my room shut the door and LOCKED it and literally 10min later i get a knock on my door. i'm thinking what the now, she wants my opinion on her outfit for a job interview this afternoon...now come on she knows what she can and cannot wear. she was using it as an excuse to make me unlock my door and listen to her talk which she did and seeing that i don't care about whatever it is that she has to say i tuned her out like i do all the time. she does like this at least three times a day and i've gotten to the point where i am blatantly rude and have made comments but she doesn't GET it. she listens to what i have to say for a minute then changes the subject back to her because it's all about her

Wai. On this one I am gonna say fight fire with fire. Wait until she has company or she is doing something important and wants to be alone and keep bugging her every 10 minutes with stupid . May be she will take notice then. I met this girl once..I mean she seemed ok but I can't say I talked to her enough to get a good judge of character. If all else fails give her the....you are my room mate not my friend talk.
yankeeBaby
