So who has off for Good Friday?
Citigroup ppl get to go home early...funny since MOST financial institutions have this day off if anything...and isn't the stock market closed today?
but ah wells, getting paid is coo...and i still get paid till 5pm tho

well its a lil soon to announce but i may be working on monday again

its a short term temp spot at a company that does medical advertising
but with a chance to go temp-to-perm. im pretty excited.
they will let me know by the days end (well its pretty much a done deal but sometimes temp spots just 'disappear' or they decide they don't need you.)

well either way, when i start, i will ideally NOT be on TA anymore during the weekday. lol. |

I got my raise yesterday, it wasn't great but its the most that they can give me according to they're so called budget. I finally asked about promotions and what would be available to me in the future being that I've been in the same position for a little over 4 years now and it seemed like there was no way up. My supervisor was actually able to provide some insight on what openings may come up within the department when some of the employee's retire which should be coming up in the next year or two. He said that he would recommend me for either of them....from there the next step up is a supervisory role. He also added that if I am still in the same position and there is nothing available they will consider giving me a title promotion which consist of just adding "senior" to my title and giving me a large increase in pay but I would be doing the same work. |
