The NY Philharmonic performs Berlioz's Le Corsair Overture, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, Pathetique. Ludovic Morlot conducts on Central Park’s Great Lawn (enter the Park at West 81st or 86th Streets at Central Park West, or East 79th or 85th Streets at Fifth Avenue). Wednesday, July 11th, 8 pm. The show concludes with fireworks
In case anyone cares or likes classical music this is tonight, I'm gonna go because I can't really say no to hearing some Berlioz or Tchaikovsky for free |
