Dj Energy, you are on one side of the conflict. Living in Israel would probably sway my views towards Sharon. Living in Palestine would probably sway my views towards Arafat. What's your point?

I'm not on about his democracy, I'm on about the democracy through which he almost gained power, that being the Weimar Republic who were in office at the time and had been since the war. Hitler's NSDAP became the largest German party in the 1932 elections under a democratic system with free speech, free elections, and freedom from imprisonment. |

do u know what it's like to open tv every day and see that another suicidal bomber succeded in his plan?! i gues u do't but we do!!! it's very hard to see all of this things occuring so fast without and warning or something. u can't go to clubs anymore, can't go sit in a coffee house, can't even simply walk in the streets of some cities because an arab might show up and shoot u. if u go and live in palastine the only things u would see are israeli soldiers that are trying to conquer ramalla in order to stop the bombing. i see in the news palastieniens attack with guns and stones israeli soldiers, what do u expect from the soldiers to do!? they react like they suppose to react and they shoot back at them, sometimes the palastiniens get hurt in there and sometimes our own soldiers, who just want to protect us the people in israel from this kind of stuff that happen. how can u justify this?!!?!? u don't see israeli people go to palastinien cities and explode over there and why is that?! because we are not barbaric like them. we wanted peace with them and even when the peace talks were in progress, still palastiniens were exploding here like water, so the only thing that's left for us to do is to stop this madness the hard way, the easy way is just not enough for this babaric asses!!!!!!! don't blame Sharon on this cause it's not his fault, blame Arafat because he is the one ordering to the bombers to get in israel, he gives them the green light and he has no intension to stop this. u see all the palastiniens protesting in the street in favour of Arafat but u don't see anything is happening to them. try to protest in israel with this amount of people and i guarentee u within a hour a suicidal bomber is there ready to explode!!! u say that everybody here is basing their posts on assumbtions and not facts but this ain't true, all the things i just said and Yuval (Dj Energy) said are the truth cause as someone said, u can't understand what's going on if u have so much distance from here.

I don't think that i'm objective. cause i live in israel, and part of the war. U guys don't. U believe what u want, But all your knowledge is base on assuming and guesses.
If somebody from Gaza would write here, then u should listen to what he has to say...
Moreover, Israel DID NOT want this fight.
We were getting along very well, u should ask the ARABS-ISRAELLIEN that really love to work here and live side by side with us.
It's the terror organizations that are fighting.
All the years they attack, but the problem now is that the PLA helps them in thier acts, and YASSER ARAFAT supports them. A leader who wants peace should put all of his efforts into finding sulotions to stop those terroristic acts.
He didn't, he supported them, that's why were in this situation...
It's really bad, but we didn't want this onto us...
Us will attack IRAQ. iraq will attack us. will hit back on iraq with the us, and all the area will go into war. A war i hope will be over with our victory... We have no were to go.

As for shooting civilians, your IDF have it easier than most armies. In 1972 a section of the 2nd Battalion the Parachute Regiment opened fire on a crowd of protestors in Northern Ireland, after they claimed shot were fired in their direction.
13 innocent civilians were shot dead, several more were injured.
The men responsible have been investigated and suffered court hearings for 30 years no less. Full scale investigations to the tune of millions of pounds have been launched, the nation was outraged and 30 years later it is still considered a dark moment in history, even though hundreds of British soldiers have been blown to pieces in Northern Ireland and thousands have been killed over the years in London and South Armagh.
The IDF commit actions like that every week, but I do not see their soldiers meeting the same fate. |

Well let me get one thing clear,
The suicide bombers doesn't do it for the reason u think.
They think it's a holy war. There "Shechs" - like priests or something, promiss them 70 mermeids (is that a word?) in heaven for killing them selves, so they think it's a good thing
About the thing with the soldiers u mentioned, i didn't understand what's the connection ?
Israeli troops only defend themselves and never the first to shoot!
so therefor there is no reason to blame them |

in 1956 the israeli force put a curfew on an arab village called Kfar Kasem
no one is suppose to be outside after the sunset

they are brain washing them and ordering them to go here and kill innocente people. i saw it in the news, u see a person talks to a few hundred palastiniens telling them how good it is to kill israeli people. they call themselves "Shaid" which is like Chen said a holy person that secrified himself to a great cause and is sent up to the sky to 70 virgins (i think that's the word) and that's a load of bull!! maybe this will give u a clue on why they do it - brain wash!! |

That was over 40 years ago. Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion the Parachute Regiment opened fire on a taxi which was driving during the Kurfew in Kabul a few weeks ago, killing one person inside the car. The soldiers claim they were fired at first. The soldiers were flown 10,000 miles back home immediately for investigation.
On Bloody Sunday the British Paras were fired upon, that has now been proven. They have been investigated for 30 years because they shot dead civilians AFTER being fired upon.
The IDF have shot so many civilians I've lost count. Show me that they have been disciplined for their weekly killings. |
