| I'm going to be annoyed if Mitchell puts Ford instead of Calderon in starting rotation |

Tonight is gonna be an iffy game
first off we were ahead of dallas by 24 then lost :|
second Pheonix played a very tight game last night against Indiana winning only by 4 points
im sure all of our guys will be back in the lineup 2nite but you gotta wonder if theyre guna be a little bit slow first game back
personally i would bring bargs and ford off the bench
bosh is obv in the starting rotation bcuz he goes 2 the line and is such a key player
but ford/bargs shuld come off the bench |

Hollinger's NBA Playoff Odds
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/playoffodds
Hollinger's NBA Playoff Odds are based on the Hollinger Power Rankings, designed by ESPN.com's John Hollinger. The Hollinger Power Rankings are a measure of each team's performance in the season so far. Based on those rankings, each day the computer plays out the remainder of the season 5,000 times to see the potential range of projected outcomes. The results reveal the most likely win-loss record for each team -- and how likely it is for each team to make the playoffs, win the NBA title, win the lottery, and so on... |

Is anyone surprised that the Raps are only a 500 team right now? |

I am in a sense that at the beginning of the season I was expecting about .575-.600 ball from us.
I'm not now, the way we've been playing. We still need rebounding help and a more 'lane intimidation'. Send those little kids to the floor dammit! |

a little...
I expected a bit of a slow start, given the # of changes to the roster. Add Garbo being a lame duck and it's not *that* surprising.
As long a they get into the playoffs healthy and on a positive note...though home court advantage would be nice too.
I think it's most important that the Raps develop a solid starting lineup and bench rotation 10-20 games before the playoffs begin and are healthy.
If this happens, I think the current lineup can hang with all but the elite teams and should be able to win a couple of playoffs series. There's still a legit rebounder/defender away from being considered a contender, IMHO, although Moon has really stepped up in that regard. |

As good as Moon has been defensive, the Raps are still getting pounded in the paint and rebounding most nights :(
Think Colangelo can put together a package and lure Ben Wallace away from Chicago? *wishful thinking* |

I don't want Ben, he's clearly on the downside of his career, even if we got him, I that wouldn't automatically make us contenders, and therefore, with his downward trending play, would only mean a weaker team for the future. Besides, the Bulls aready have depth and a ton of perimeter shooters, pretty much what toronto has to offer them right now [aside from a PG]. |
