Was at the game tonight....Raptors looked good....except for the third quarter.

The Raptors better get more agressive going to the net...they barely got to the line in the first three quarters.

The refs pretty muched sucked balls....the female ref was terrible...she looked like a highschool ref....I think her big ass was slowing her down too.

Good start tonight boys.

Was at the game as well 3rd row up. Intense and such a good opener, for the Raps. Could be a promising season.

+1

Missed most of the game as I had to take the GFs little sis out trick-or-treating but did manage to catch a bit of the 3rd and 4th quarter in PIP haha.

I'm ready for a great season this year!

from today's Toronto Star:

"Splitting the minutes – 31 for Ford and 17 for Calderon – the two combined for 27 points, 16 assists and two turnovers, shockingly good production."

sick. the Raps need to give these two whatever the they want if they are willing to indefinitely co-exist like this. Hands down, the Raps have the best PG situation in the league.

Agreed. Wish I saw the game though.

How was the paint defence and rebounding last night?

Defence wasn't bad....I think they will have problems with a more aggressive team though. It seemed like they were terribly out rebounded last night....I think rebounding is going to be the weakest part of their game.

A bit early to judge don't ya think? :p

that's what I thought. (and raps looked weak on that department from the pre season games too)

I've been saying this for like a year now, but the Raps need that rebounder. Or else we won't go far in the playoffs.

I'm willing to give up Ford or Calderon if the price is right for a good rebounder
