| Yeah honestly TJ Ford is a good player, it's hard to match anyone up to him, and his speed is just uncanny but who the hell did he think he was when he tried to win the game by himself against the Lakers? He's a huge ball hog, argghhhh watching him making questionable shot just pisses me off. |

if nothing else, this dismal road trip points out exactly where are flaws as a team are, as if it wasn't glaringly obvious already...
1. Perimeter defense - keep your man in front of you!
2. Transition defense - follow your shot, everyone else, get the back!
3. Rebounding - without bosh, no one can.
4. TJ Ford - point guards jobs are to PASS THE BALL. |

Man, do I ever miss Garbo right now. I feel as if our team has no grit whatsoever this year. We have no identity or no charachter whatsoever. The thing that gets me is everyone keeps talking about playoffs. Playoffs this, playoffs that, just wait til' we get to the playoffs so we can win a seris, building towards the playoffs...etc etc. Even with Bosh back, I don't think this team can win a playoff seris for the reasons I just mentioned above. I feel as if they have regressed a bit this year. They've lost what is was that made them how good they were last year...and they've lost their grit and identity. And it's not like there is all the time in the world to get this back...we have a month left in the season. I'm feeling a little :nervous: right now....

I think I said like a thousand times that the Raps needed tough interior D and rebounder, but Colangelo didn't get one.

^^^ yes...and that's why they need to trade TJ in the off season!
Raps are a very different team without Bosh...that's *obvious*. Their offense completely changes without him.
Their playoff position is secure...so it's best to rest Bosh until he's 100%. |

Yeah but you also don't want the team to be 7th or 8th and play against the Celtics or Pistons. |

all they have to do is play .500 ball and they should be fine.
Detroit or Boston would suck...though I'd choose an unproven (in the playoffs) Boston team over a seasoned Detroit lineup in a series.
Clevland won't be much better. |
