No way man. I mean I hate the Mavs cause they're pussies but the Spurs are way worse. They're such a dirty team. Flopping MUST be a pre-requisite to be on the Spurs. Parker and Ginobili have it down pat. Then you got Duncan whining like a bitch at every call. And of course Mr. "I'll stick my foot under yours as you're coming down to potentially injure you", Bruce Bowen.
I hate the Spurs. But I only want them to sweep the damn Suns so the Shaq trade could be seen for what it was all along: a ludicrous trade which Steve Kerr should lose his f'ing job for.
On another note: How come nobody is talking about Philly completely leveling the Pistons last night? Nothing puts a smile on my face more than seeing THAT team completely self-destruct. Always thought they were overrated. They should blow them up in the off-season and send Tayshaun Prince to Toronto. |

Yeah imagine Pistons getting knocked out first round... And Raptors making it to the 2nd round, Raps Vs 76ers in semi-finals, I think we could beat them in the series during the season... So from that we'll probably be facing Boston in the Eastern finals, this is all high hopes though but that would be amazing for Toronto. :D |

yep, we're out. I predicted in 5 as well. We sucked going into the playoffs, and we sucked while there. such a dubious distinction, being the first team eliminated from the playoffs.
Oh well, I estimate we've got a busy offseason ahead. Sam was given his shot with the players he had and will be soon bought out of his contract and maybe even be going to NY to get massacred by their press for another losing season.
TJ will be gone too, as well as a large portion of our bench. But at least Colangelo has had the foresight to leave cap room to fill the glaring holes in our roster. |

horrible perimeter D and horrible under the basket.
Bosh was *awful* defending Howard. He really needs to work on his low post D or the Raps need to give up on the Bargnani experiment at C and find a legit big man who can defend. Howard did whatever the he wanted on both ends of the floor.
TJ is history...it's all but certain, IMHO. I can't wait to see what the Raps get in return, because he is a very good PG...just not the type of PG I would want to run my offense. Too much of a shoot-first guy, lazy/ineffective too often on D and a bit whiney when things aren't going his way. Thanks...but see ya.
I think Rasho may be kept around if they don't find another C...though Brezec could fill in minutes if they find a taker. Personally, I'd like to see Rasho stick around and given the starting role next year because Bargnani is nowhere near ready for starters mintues and I still don't think he's EVER going to be a good C.
I dunno...I look forward to the inevitable shake-up. |

well no surprise .. we got killed by another 20-20 game by Howard. Turkoglu and Lewis remained annoying as ever and Jameer Nelson kept up his beat.
I agree that some major off-season moves will be made likely starting with TJ Ford and Nesterovic (this being his contract year). Calderon will be a restricted free agent so they'll probably wanna make some space for him.
I can already envision Colangelo clamouring up some schemes..

Don't feel like writing a whole long winded post but yea, I agree with most of the things you guys are saying.
Big things are coming...that's almost guaranteed. The Raptors need a second scoring option. As constructed, the Raptors right now are Bosh + role players. We can't win like this. Role players don't always show up to play when needed most.
I think Marion is a FA is he not...? |
