as I said...TJ needs to go. he's becoming a cancer. this is indeed the right move for now...but he HAS to go.
so Jose can be a competent backup...then blossom into a top 5 starter when TJ is hurt. TJ comes back, is crusty and scowling all the time, unhappy at a backup role and now everyone appeases his inability to play with the 2nd unit by making him a starter again?
that .
pay Jose what he deserves as a starter, have Ukic and Delfino as the 2nd and 3rd PG and ship TJ outta here for a big man.
this is ridiculous... |
I totally agree with everything that you said, wise man!
TJ is making 8 million a year, give that to a big man or an amazing defender. Raptors need confidence, and aggressiveness. |

what's the difference if it works, and the team plays better? |

of course he responds with a good game now, lol. It's unfortunate that starting or coming off the bench is a motivating factor for him. His salary will go a long way in locking up Jose long-term, I hope.
I don't hate TJ. He's a good player...just too raw. I just *really* prefer Jose's game at PG. For short runs, having both TJ and Jose on the court at the same time is fun to watch, as it really s over the opposing defense. It's just a waste of $$$ to have both of them when there are glaring needs elsewhere.
Rasho has really stepped up. He always been defensively very good, but he's got great hands and is chipping in better on the offense too. He and Bosh work really well together.
given that Detroit could be a 1st round opponent, it was nice to see the Raps win this one! I thought they were going to get blown out, to be honest :o |

I'm convinced that Ford and his attitude may be a short term gain, but not a long term solution |

indeed, they need to drop him at the end of this season. |

| don't kid yourself folks, this wasn't a 'big win'. Sure the pistons played their starters regular minutes, but it doesn't mean they have much to play for...The playoffs are a different animal, and if we come up against them in the first round, we'll be lucky to win just one game. |

perhaps...but bitch slapping the Raps down on their home court would have sent a nice message for the playoffs, lol.
I hope we end up playing Orlando. Howard would be hard to contain, but better than dealing with the Pistons. I wouldn't want any part of Clevland as those trades were done *exactly* for the playoffs and LeBron can just take over any game, any time.
I dunno...I'll be happy if the Raps win one series. Then they need to address their serious defensive and rebounding shortcomings in the off season. |

^^^ glad to see they're keeping Darrick around though.
I'd be surprised if he's not offered a coaching position for next year with the Raps. |
