haha it was sad to lose Mo Pete last year as I used to laugh hysterically whenever Chuck would shout out "MP3 download", as you know he had no ing clue what it meant lol
'Salami and Cheese' took a serious back seat this year!
I would also get excited when he would do his first 3 of the game with the "and you can RING it up from dowtown yada yada"... |

Undrafted, mediocre stats, non-Division I or II school?
to hazzard a guess, it's a favour to Chris...to give some exposure to his younger brother with the hopes that he impresses and maybe catches on with a D-League team?
I think it's safe to say that there is zero chance he catches on with the Raps.
bigger concern is Delfino. It's really unclear how hard the Raps will try to retain him if another team makes an offer (he's a restricted free agent, tendered a qualfying offer by the Raps, so they have the right to match any offers).
I think it would be a *huge* mistake to let him go, especially given that he can run the point, in a pinch. With TJ gone and an unproven Ukic on his way from the Spanish league, I think Delfino's experience off the bench is going to be important. I really like his game. He was just buried behind too much talent in Detroit. |

| From what I've heard...Delfino isn't high on the Raps list...I agree with you that loosing him would be a mistake. |

| So Bosh has stated he has no interest in signing an extension with the Raptors and he will be testing the Free Market. Looks like its trade rumor time. |

| ummmm, you posted in the wrong year's thread. And BTW, Bosh has said nothing yet. My rumour mill has BC changing some of the pieces around Bosh in an attempt to appease him. |

BC has one year left before the 2010 free agent crop rears it's ugly head
imagine if bosh/lebron/wade colluded to play on one team, each taking in a lower salary, in return a 3stud team that can go deep in the playoffs every year |

| Bosh stated it on the FAN590 last night that he has no intention of signing an extension this summer. I highly doubt we will see Bosh in a Raptor uniform come trade deadline next year. It doesn't surprise me...he's like every other professional athlete with no loyalty....except loyalty to the green back. |

yeah, but he was also asked about the chances of him resigning in Toronto in 2010, and he said 'good'. I think we'll be a spot where it comes down to the first half of the season. If things are in the tank, he's gone, if not, then he stays. |

and how many other players in pro sports say the same thing with no intention of resigning. If he resigns its only because the Raptors can pay him more then any other team. Most likely it will be a sign and trade if he does resign. |
