Getting Santana definitely helps the Mets: Front line starter that will put less pressure on the rest of the rotation and the bullpen.

Unfortuntately, the Mets still need to work on the bullpen to make it at least decent.

Tigers making the most of the post-season signings. Dontrelle can eat a lot of innings and relieve the bull-pen (a tad bit inconsistently tho). And Melky is as good of a 3B as you can get, and he's still young - which is scary to think that he can get better.

Wonder what they're gonna do about Sheff and all the steroid allegations...

But I'd say they're definitely favorites to challege BoSox for the AL spot.

NL... well... hahahahahahahahahahaha. But I'd love to see the Cubbies finally gel and put out a good product. We'll see.

my jaw dropped to the floor when the tigers got willis and cabrera in the same deal. i'm not sure what the marlins got in return, but it might've been another pupu platter too.

Considering the marlins trade history, they got an excellent front office, so I expect it to be more than the pupu platter.

Miggy will continue to be a beast, but Dontrelle is looking more and more like nothing more than a 1 year wonder.
