I was soooo happy that I ran into you :D
too bad it was at the very end of the night though.
but in short form:
- arrived way earlier than I like to.
- happy with the way Guv handled the situation with giving you options on refunds, free tickets for tonight and drinks, but it was still disappointing Sasha wasn't there.
- I am not a huge Digweed fan, but all friends were there so it was bound to be a good night regardless.
- Digweed definitely had some killer moments to his set, but for me it was up and down all night and by the time 4am rolled around, I was simply exhausted!
I would think that somewhere in the future a S&D night will be rescheduled, but thanks to my friends.. I had a great night out :) |

i wasn't going to mention anything but now that you're saying it ... i thought i saw the same thing. ok i'm a lil nearsighted (and no i was not on stuff) but i could have sworn to have caught a few glimpses of him. anyyywayyys...he was prolly passed out in the back of the tour bus sobering up. :p & that's probably why everyone was saying that he will be showing up after all ... or it was just plain wishful thinking.
whatever i don't care anymore for missing another chance to see them together. i had a wicked time regardless. at least there was room to dance my butt off. :D |

Still had a great time! Not knocking the club at all, thought they handled it well... It was just very disappointing to hear Sasha wasnt gonna be showing up... |

Sasha and Digweed together is the only act i want to see currently that i haven't already seen before, so naturally i was pretty disappointed.
The rumours actually had a positive effect on me because i was stupid enough to believe it and anticipate it.
If i had to pick one diggers is my fav of the two but sasha has been killing it lately and would have added a ton of character to the sound (duh) Regardless after getting raped by digweed in niagara falls i was ready for a storming scary marching set. Last night had its moments of brilance and i enjoyed every minute of it but it just wasn't scary enough. Too techy, too light. Im def going to the dark side when i consider a techy diweed set "light" Scarier and angrier please.
Still an 8/10 set, hes a mixing genius and is my number 1 mixer by a long shot.
It was great to see everyone, haven't had that many people in one room in a long time.
Random Thoughts:
- Digweed's response to a crowd going nuts after a big drop is to take a huge swig of his beer. Class act.
- Yohan your crazy, thats the best the KH has sounded ever. Finally not too loud and it was clear crisp bass. |

the quality of the sound was awesome. but the bass was turned up too freaking loud and I could barely hear the mids at times. |

yep. i had one of those custom earplugs. worth every penny so far.
and those are designed to cut down the bass but keep the highs and mids, and I still could hear way too much bass |
