Their performance at WMC 2007 was mehhh...not very imaginative but not that bad either. 6/10
Koolhaus had THE ABSOLUTE WORST SOUNDING SYSTEM...I felt like I had ear plugs in all night...it was all bass and no mid and inconsistent highs. Also, I've seen Digweed live by himself before and he is GREAT...not Friday night though...maybe he was caught off guard playing by himself and tried to play sasha-esque style with big techie build ups...but it did not work. The show barely gets a 3/10 from me....
VERY DISAPPOINTING.
But Diggers is still king and I'd go see them again...but I've lost some of my enthusiasm to see them live. |

Totally disagree, guys. I would rather pay the extra money for better sound...I don't go out to shows like this to get wasted or high, i try and go for the music and experience i would not be able to reproduce in my own house.
The sound in MTL was manifold better than KoolHaus...the unfortunate thing is that KH sound can be improved with some tuning and attention rather then abject neglect.
Sound quality is something that can be improved and should be commented on to try and improve the experience for everyone. Just because we "have it good" doesn't mean we can't "make it better". |

KH cannot be compared to pepsi forum... the acoustics are way different due to the room structure.
I'm not going to argue about the sound being bad because I found it far better than other times Ive been to KH and I am no expert to say specifics. but if you feel so strongly about KH sound not being good, refrain from parties there instead of complaining all the time since you apparently have sound engineering experience and cannot handle it |

Fantastic night!!!
Got there around 10ish to hear the bad news but hell make the best of it, and did we ever!
So many good people there, so many I haven't seen in so long. I couldnt go 5 steps without running into someone.
Music was great, yah it had its slow moments but for teh most part Diggers was bangin them out and everyone in the place was rockin their socks off.
5am was way too early, I dont remember the last time a party ended at that complex before sun rise?
Nice meeting a lot of new people as well and lol at the front of stage experience with one of the local Dj's.
Hope they come back for the people who have been waiting to see them together. |
