See, you gotta be on the ball like Grinder... he comes up to me and warned me how big the line up was getting near the end. I got our tix off Jay and waited for a good min or less.
You know, the thought did pop into my mind for sec, but then i just dismissed it! bah! :(
what a stupid call.
Seriously that line was madness (if u could embody madness in the length and chaos of a line) ;)
it still has NOTHING on the coa check line at the Docks's Dec 2005 for Tiesto (and that was only a line to check ur coat IN, not to check your coat OUT either)

i definitely thought it was a solid party... i was obviously looking forward to seeing the duo reunite but i have to admit even when i heard sasha was a no show i didn't even mind... 4+ hours of digweed was good enough for me... i would've been massively disappointed if it was vice versa... digweed just does it for me...
here are some vids i took... more to come...

OK Jenny, the people you are hearing from are far more correct than most of what I'm hearing on this message board.
I've seen S&D live twice (WMC Miami 2007 and Montreal Dec 2008)...their performance in Montreal was EPIC. Flawless programming, excellent sound system at the Forum, great crowd...couldn't ask for anything more. 10/10
Their performance at WMC 2007 was mehhh...not very imaginative but not that bad either. 6/10
Koolhaus had THE ABSOLUTE WORST SOUNDING SYSTEM...I felt like I had ear plugs in all night...it was all bass and no mid and inconsistent highs. Also, I've seen Digweed live by himself before and he is GREAT...not Friday night though...maybe he was caught off guard playing by himself and tried to play sasha-esque style with big techie build ups...but it did not work. The show barely gets a 3/10 from me....
VERY DISAPPOINTING.
But Diggers is still king and I'd go see them again...but I've lost some of my enthusiasm to see them live.

Had a cold Friday. Now I feel better that I did not miss much.
I really wanted to see the both of them.
Glad many people had a good time.

How do you distinguish someone from being correct or incorrect about describing the music from Friday night? I think its a matter of personal preference...There are people who enjoyed his set from start to finish and there are ppl like myself who thought there were great WTF MOMENTS as well as boring moments during his set. Nothing can ever compare to what I witnessed in MTL :p

Ok, let me be clearer:
I would agree with what Jenny has heard from other people that this was a very medicore Digweed set at best rather than the opinion of people on this board who think it was great.
My reference point is other times I've seen digweed or both sasha and digweed play together.
Other people may disagree with me...but that is THEIR opinion... Here is mine: This set was generally beneath Digweed's usual standards and it was made worse by a badly tuned sound system.

This event was probably the worst event Ive ever been to @ Guv.. first we had to wait outside for 20 minutes because they wouldnt let my friend Krystle in, when she had ID and everything just a stupid bouncer on a power trip, got soaking wet, then had to deal with a stupid stupid stupid incident for 2 hours.. Definitely ruined my night
Seeing so many TOTAs was great as always, and the end of Digweed's set was amazing.. but I wasn't feeling the beginning and missed a bit in between..
lol @ Lisa Loo refusing to say hi to me .. silly girl .. I dont bite!
Thanks for all the fun guys.. Morty .. you saved my night at one point.. thanks for making me stay! Glad to hear everyone else had fun though :)
