dont get this twisted. im not looking to get married in the next decade even. however I'm curious if women truly care abt the size of the diamond their fiancee to be gives to them. |

I'd care. But I'm superficial and materialistic.

yea this girl i speak of wants a 20 thou dollar ring from her bf and is angry with him that he just bought a new car instead of buying her a 20 thou dollar rng. i truly couldnt believe my ears.
I know a car is a depreciating asset but u cant drive ur ring to work. eventhough with gas prices what they are it would probably be cheaper |

I think what matters most is how much care and discretion a person puts into buying it.
One can get a huge diamond very cheaply (if the other 3 C's + polish are lower on the scale).
One can get a smaller stone that is very expensive (if the other 3 C's +polish are higher on the scale).
So price and size are inversely related to some degree - therefore it shouldn't be about what you spend, nor about how big it is - but how far you've searched to find the best balance between the two.
Succinctly put: a good stone is hard to find. |
