I'm not saying that they will actually back the US, but more that they wont veto on the security council and new resolutions regarding Iran in exchange for Georgia. Then when the US attacks Iran they can sit there and say the same thing the US has been saying about them attacking Georgia. :)
Oh... apparently Georgia told its forces to ceasefire... lets see if the Russians agree to talk or they just roll over!
