your jobs are dime a dozen because you are going after dime a dozen jobs.
grow up and have some confidence in yourself or you will be nowhere later on;) |

as a professional recruiter who deals with hr people i think i know what they are looking for and what makes you come off as desperate. I am trying to help you here. When you start listing points that are anything other that credible CONCRETE qualifications (aka stuff that they do not have to take your word for)...it comes off as desperate. Short, sweet, and efficient.
when you start writing stuff they do not care about they go to the next one. They don't have time for bull even if it is true.
stop being naive and neurotic and see that the comments are meant to help you not hurt you. |
well i've had several attorneys and the head hunter tell me i have a great resume so i'm confident in it. it's obviously working i got 2 calls already when the job market blows so :p |

| I think they're trying to say to go for something OTHER than what you're doing. The sooner you get out of it, the sooner you can get into something worth while and more geared towards what you're wanting to do later on. |

| look i take my job seriously and i have a great work ethic and all, but this isn't the type of thing i would like to continue doing, so if i sound a little pesimistic about it on here, then i'm sorry. you are reading me wrong...i'm just griping because i don't really like my line of work but it's a decent salary considering you dont even need a degree for it. |

| So what kind of nursing are you going into? A degree program? Diploma? I dunno how it works down there...is licensing the same as here? Like RN or RPN? I think your LPN is equivalent to our RPN, no? |

i dont have time to find myself in another career right now. i've decided on nursing and i'm sticking to it. i start school in january and that's it. i need a steady job that will pay my bills and allow me to take classes at night. legal secretary jobs are perfect for that. |

Maybe you could try using that to your advantage & stop shooting for entry level positions. |
