lol
my last job there was always issues w/ payroll and even though my boss was super nice, he never really made it a priority to look into it right away and that really turned me off. you can't be that way with your employees' money. they work hard for you and if there is an issue with their payroll, you better ing stop what you're doing and fix it asap. that's just how i see it. |

| Employee program deals are about as bad as a deal you can get lol. The ones you work out yourself are a lot better especially if you have someone that likes you doing it. |

well i have that one interview today at 3:30 so we'll see. i've submitted my resume to like 8 or so ads and haven't heard anything yet. the girl i trained said it took almost 3 weeks for her to start getting calls back. i mean if i get offerred the job today i'll take it, but if something better comes along like a month from now, i'm out. i have to look out for myself. |
It took me 3 months to find a job when I got fired. I had a bunch of interviews, but there were always like 20-30 people going for that 1 position. ing sucked. |

| Slylee, have you only sent your resume to 8 places? Don't be selective at this point, you need to send your resume to at least 50 places to be guaranteed at least 5-10 interviews and if you're a good presenter then you'll get at least 1-2 job offers. |

yea i see what you're saying. i'm gonna see how this interview goes today first. not to sound cocky but i do very well on interviews and i've never gone on one where they didn't offer me the job lol i have lots of experience in this area of law too (the one i'm going for today) so i have that, plus my interviewing skills, plus the fact that i know the attorney, plus the fact that they need someone "asap". it's looking good. |

Just smoke a joint and see what comes your way. As in "where there's smoke there's fired."
...
I'll get my coat. |

| sending resumes should be your last option, it's the worst thing ever. Last two jobs were because of hints by friends. You have to tell people around you that you're looking for a job, it works. 80% of jobs aren't displayed anywhere. |
