yea i have that but it's sporatic. they don't need me again till the end of the month. they need bottle servers though but i'm seriously not cut out for that . all those VIP servers are ing bitchy little savages. i'm too nice for that industry lol |

how far do you live from Aventura? one of my best friends from college is a pyschologist along with his wife, who have their own private practices there and in Sunrise I think, and could probably use someone with front desk/secretarial skillz. |

| Sadly (unfortunately), I terminated employment of two research assistants last week. One of them, has a disabled wife and young child. Meh, I think I felt worse than he did. It seems like it is a bad time to be fired. When the economy is bad, people, companies, universities, corporations slow/decrease hiring. |

exactly. the job market sucks right now. i feel i have a pretty decent resume though and great references and i just need to stay focused and positive. i'm totally willing to try something new. i'll even go into retail if i have to since the holidays are coming up. i mean whatever, i gotta do what i gotta do.
the worst part is that i haven't told my parents yet that i'm moving in with my boyfriend. i'm scared to lol ing 27 years old and i'm worried about telling them this. they still treat me like a baby. and my mom is crashing with me right now for 2 more weeks until she goes back to indianapolis (she just moved there to be closer to my sister and grandkids).
it sucks because i want to get a head start on packing and i can't lol |

Tell her!! She will help you pack! But srsly, you should tell her. Prolly hurt her feelings if she finds out after the fact that you didn't tell her while she was there. |

i'm trying!!! lol i keep wanting to bring it up and then i chicken out.
the good news is that my mom loves him. she never likes any guys i date. my dad liked him too.
and we've worked out some of the stupid issues we were having when we first started dating (the ex gf and me having commitment issues). we're pretty solid right now and i'm happy. i don't think it'll be that bad living with him for a while. i like cooking and cleaning for him :tongue2

oh yea and i can't believe i forgot to share the juciest part about this whole thing.
my mom moved right? well she is a paralegal at a huge firm and she is probably the most valued employee there...i mean she makes that firm a TON of money and she is very smart and a hard worker...works very independently, etc... they pretty much treat her like an attorney there.
well, when she put her notice in, she mentioned to her boss that i could possibly replace her and she'd train me. he was all about it and got me in for an interview and 2 of the other attorneys wanted to hire me and it was like pretty much in the bag. i was super excited.
well, this one attorney there who is a prick and who has been having an affair with his old secretary (who coincidentally happens to be the mother of my best friend's kid LOL) found out that they were interviewing me and he threw a fit. he doesn't like my mom at all because she was very much involved in the whole affair drama.
my best friend and i were at dinner one night and i saw the attorney and the secretary together and my best friend was like, "HOLY THAT'S HER (his baby mama). it was the craziest thing ever. well of course my mom told her boss and all this unfolded and it's still going on.
so yea...they won't hire me because it will make waves w/ that other attorney right now and they are trying to split the practice in peace...all because of a piece of ass.
i was so bummed that happened. |

Why don't you start a business where you deliver meals to old folks?
There's a lot of old folks. They don't like to drive to get food. AND they don't like to cook.
So you cook cool stuff...
