you're trying hard but you're going to do more than that to make it into the top 5 with the big boys

that's another thing i dont get. people think that because they enjoyed trance 15 years ago that time period was the best for trance. for anyone who's newer to the scene like i am - in 10 years i'm sure i'll be saying that this time was the best for trance. it's all about when you discover it because those are your own personal golden years.
that's most definetly not true. I got into trance around 2004 yet most of the tracks I like are from the early to late 90s. there are other who do as well. espcially those who were too young to have experienced the club scene at that time

I'm in Lyndhurst every weekend, I'll keep a lookout for a skinnyfat pencilneck douche canoe who looks like he hasn't seen the sun in 3 years. Better hope I don't drive past the Pro-Active store or your 2009 might start with bump, pun intended. Capiche'?

It's not that there are anything wrong with minimal techno just widen your musical knowledge a bit. And besides minimal techno will not be the next big thing in 2 years so be prepared to jump the next bandwagon!:D
Cheers!
Because little to none of the music I've charted lately is anything techno, and certainly not "minimal".

You made it sound as though they were bitter they didn't have your taste or knowledge or something along those lines. Which is self-evidently daft. I don't think those kind of people are even reading your charts, they just associate you with certain threads about people they know little about.
Although, the difference between minimal techno, tech house and minimal house (if there even is such a thing) is so minor I suspect it's fabricated by people so they can refute that kind of post.
