I'm not whining. I'm just telling you how it is as you don't seem to understand how internet message boards work. This isn't 4chan. I'd love to do something, make me a mod :) |

What do you think a message board is supposed to be? A heavily modded, serious environment like a ing school or something? Heavily regulated boards are pure , no one wants to post on them because they aren't interesting or fun.
If people want serious answers, they should ask serious questions. When people write threads saying "tell me all the songs similar to Darude", they deserve everything they get for asking stupid questions. The flaming and attacks on people asking pointless things like this are a direct response to their laziness, and they entertain us...if briefly.
I've posted threads asking for specific genre recommendations in my time, but only when I couldn't find them myself. |

Exactly. Self-moderating forums are so much more interesting. They have their own communities, their own little culture, and when you make posts you get called out on it. I'd much rather have a bunch of so called "trolls" who make bitter and insulting comments than have everyone be all PLUR and boring as . |
