I remember as a kid, dancing to his videos, trying to emulate the moon walk, and the first time doing it, that overwhelming feeling of having pulled off something crazy. Then Michael went all advanced on us, and pulled out the sideways moon walk. Just amazing.
Having watched an interview with him, you could tell he only knew how to live on the stage. He didn't fit into society, and was not comfortable talking or socializing. But, put a mic in his hand, and show him a dance floor and he came alive. He lived to entertain, and for that, he lost his child hood.
I wish it could have been another way, but alas, that was the legend that was MJ.

In a special I was watching yesterday he literally said what you just said. He was saying that he could sleep on the stage, he could do everything on the stage, but when he walked off he didn't know how to act. I think he was in his early 20s when he said that it was the first time that he had finally been able to experience friendship. So sad.
The people who used to call him wacko jacko need to acknowledge the fact that he was not like other human beings. None of us can imagine how he saw the world because his life was so abnormal.

There are rumours swirling around that he was abusing pain killers... I heard through an "inside source" (lol yes, seriously) yesterday that he broke 2 ribs last week and had been having 'complications' with pain killers this week... haha you read it here first people! :p

The family attorney had alluded to the same thing. He was saying yesterday in an interview that he had warned his family a couple of times over the last while (more than a week) that he was over medicated and that they need to talk to him about it b/c he feared something bad would happen. With a history of heart disease in his family as well, taking tons of meds I'm sure could increase the risk of cardiac arrest. The family attorney had said that he's waiting to get the toxicology reports before he makes any definite statements but that if it's confirmed that prescription medication had to do with it he "would not be silent!"
