The memorial is live today. I entered the draw to get tickets.

I just watched the news and saw his casket. Its pimped out, polished bronze, blue velvet, handmade. I couldn't hear how much it cost but looks pretty expensive.

That doesn't sound that much for a man of his stature but whatevs. Anyway, the Staples Centre looks flooded with peeps right now.

All the eBay listings were removed and cancelled. Don't know if anyone got to pay for them before they were caught.
My friend received an email notification stating that he was one of the lucky recipients how go the tickets on Sunday, however he didn't fill out the request in time to get them sunday evening.

I dunno, but that really pissed me off when I heard about that. For those that don't know, there was a pool you could enter and they were picking people at random and giving away 11,000 tickets to fans. It disgusts me that people were putting their name in the draw just so they could sell the tickets when there are adoring fans that actually wanted to go to the memorial to pay their respects, and not to make money.
I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard Joe Jackson was selling tickets in front of the Center as well.

according to the news report I was watching Ebay was taking down all the tickets as they were not allowed to be transfered to other people. I hope so... because I agree with Lisa, its pretty disgusting that people are trying to make money off it.

Imagine if the jackson death was the biggest publicity stunt ever for his new tour?
I was just thinking that when i was watching the memorial, and how much it looked like a concert. Honestly, part of me was hoping he would just pop out and start moon walking.
